Well During his time as a jedi he wasn't as bulky and Alak actually had a full head of hair. After he fell to the dark side and all the torture he went through made him lose his hair, he accentuated the hair loss with the tattoos. Also we don't know if he got his prosthetic before or after they started their campaign against the jedi, but it stands to reason with half his face covered by a vocabulator that they'd have a harder time recognizing him in addition to the bald head.

I love the section about Revan. I’ve watched a few videos where they tried to downplay Revan’s power, but if you played TOR you’d know that it took the Galaxy’s strongest AS A TEAM to take him down, and even then they didn’t kill. They only bested him in battle enough that his lighter half could convince him to let go and become one with the force.

Can we all just acknowledge that all sith were just people with PTSD and were deep down just fighting to ease their trauma. Anakin had feared losing people he loved and therefore sought power to keep them alive by killing people he deemed threats to them and his goal. Dooku had trust issues with the government bc of how corrupt his own family was and thought the Republic would ultimately manipulate the Jedi into their own war dogs Darth nillus was grieving and sought revenge for the Jedi killing his entire family and world Darth venticus was pretty much the only one besides sidious who was just a straight up psychopath. When we used to play Star Wars tabletop rpg the timeline was during the events of ulic qel-droma our GM created the ancient sith bodyguards ‘children of shadows’. When a pure blooded sith has quadruplets they placed in the shadow cylinders. Quadruplets were rare among sith but when born possessed a link to each other. From the time of king Adas with the recovery of rakatan technology they created these shadow cylinders that would implement their training into their minds and bodies. They would grow inside these cylinders changing into that which they needed to be. The ultimate bodyguards to whomever was the leader of all sith. The link they shared allowed them to communicate without speaking to each other, the cylinders being made with ancient sith alchemy and rakatan technology would bestow powers never dreamed of. However this process would cause them to have a shortened life span. Ten to twenty years at most. Part of the ritual is that the lord they were recreated for had to use their blood to activate them. This created a bond so that only their master could command them. Making them immune to mind tricks. Their ability to meld with the shadows was their ultimate weapon. Able to go in one shadow and come out another but only to a limited distance. This part reminded me of those days.

The way I see it, the Jedi is problematic. If the force sensitivity is about neurodiversity, then you can ask yourself why is mental health suppressed. Yes, because Yoda saw Anakin’s fear but did not help him. So, it really makes us ask a question - why was Star Wars did not have mental health. It’s a reflection of the author’s own perspective shaped by its limited understanding of the human mind. And precisely, Vader’s ability to come back to the light shows just how strong and capable he was. In some sense, Anakin was the chosen one. Yoda was just an asshole. If we want to go even more philosophical - we can argue the Jedi’s failure here ensured a cycle of violence.

I've maxed out everything I can and its still just below normal video volume(compared to other videos on the channel I've watched) im going nuts I can barely make out anything and i've maxed out my mix amp and even turned on both bass and gain boost and still its VERY LOW....:(.... edit.....I think I need to go in for a hearing check asap.....my roommate and a buddy with his own pc both said the volume was fine(my roommate was using my own headphones)....and he said the volume was to loud...
With Revan the issue is that everything is cast into shadows. Shards of the person is still present in one form or another. Which means that if one came back once, then its possible to do it again.

because star wars is mainly marketed to children we don't often get to explore the more mature subject matter that sith would no doubt have dealt in. there's no doubt in my mind that many a sith would have been sexual deviants. i picture the baron harkonnen as a model for that kind of sith.

because star wars is mainly marketed to children we don't often get to explore the more mature subject matter that sith would no doubt have dealt in. there's no doubt in my mind that many a sith would have been sexual deviants. i picture the baron harkonnen as a model for that kind of sith.
