    This was the source of so much trauma when I was a kid. Salvation was like a toggle switch and I spent my whole childhood worried I was going to hell for something I didn’t even know I did. If my parents were late getting home I was sure I’d missed the rapture. It was all fear and trauma.

    As a former credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God, they do NOT teach that one needs to speak in tongues in order to be saved. All one needs to do is go to their website and read the 16 Statements of Faith and the position papers.
    Also for those comments who state that they heard AG ministers say they need to speak in tongues, spoke in contradiction to the official view, doctrine, position of the General Council of the Assemblies of God.

      apparently some do not follow the General Council. There are many things the AoG teach that are not correct. They have a lot of Pentecostal views that are not correct. I believe the Bible should be interpreted literally. Some use an allegorical method which was brought in by the Roman Catholics around 400 AD. Interpreting the Bible allegorically you can make it say anything you want. That's one reason False teachers and preachers use that method.

      @Revo-rider775, Randall is 100% correct. I was raised hearing this garbage taught from the holiness and pentecostals, on my mother's side of the family. They believed you can lose your "Eternal Salvation" and that you're not saved without evidence of speaking in tongues. They're wrong on both doctrines. I knew an Assemblies of God church where the pastor said, if you don't speak in tongues, you're not saved. That was in Harrison, Ohio in the '80's.
      Anyone can ask online "Do Assemblies of GOD preach that you're not saved without the gift of speaking in tongues?" and this will pop up:
      "The Assemblies of God denomination does place a significant emphasis on the practice of speaking in tongues. They view it as a sign of baptism in the Holy Spirit, which they believe occurs after a person’s conversion1. Speaking in tongues is seen as the physical evidence of receiving the Holy Spirit."

      And has written his own study Bible with his words not on the side but mixed right in with the bible verses and in red. Revelation 22:18-19 tells us,18, For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
      19, And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
      It would be difficult for anyone to tell which words in his Bible were Gods or his.
      Then too Swaggart taught that Paul, the author of a good part of the New Testament did not understand Christ's substitutionary atonement on the cross and how that applies to our lives. You need to do some reading in Swaggart's study bible and you will find many errors
      Again, it is unfortunate that some people like to put others down because they can't prove by God's Word that what they believe and say are true.

    Hey Randall!! Good job exposing this false teaching denomination! This is well needed. The Assemblies of God churches are way off. They'll tell you you're not saved, if you don't speak in tongues. That's a lie. The gifts are divided amongst the believers. And tongues is the least of the gifts. 1 Cor. 12:28-31
    Romans 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
    7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
    8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
    9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
    10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
    11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
    12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
    13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
    14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
    15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
    16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low

      AG does not in fact teach that speaking in tongues is how you know you are saved it is seen as a a spiritual gift that come later not as prof of salvation. There is a group however that does teach that. And that group would be the four squares pentecostals. Back to AG speaking in tongues really isn’t as hyped up as most people would tell you. While it is a defining doctrine that makes AG Pentecostal it isn’t the daily bread and butter of the denomination.

      Romans 6:
      16, Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
      17, But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
      18, Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
      19, I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
      20, For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

      @@soundbibledoctrine2825 The Church has the divine guarantee to teach Christ's truth concerning the Written and Oral Tradition, both of which come from the Church. "The church is the pillar and foundation of the truth" (1Tim 3;15) and not the private interetations of an individual/group. Both the Protestant sects and the Orthodox churches put their own rendering of Apostolic Tradition above the final authority of the Catholic Church.

It is the Masonic Divine Secret, "Mahabone," and is supported by loads of ancient mysticism. You need to view my videos on Freemasonry. Freemasons from the 30th degree up have to worship Lucifer. Its easy to say one's denomination false teachings if you haven't been inside or been a member before learning their doctrines and beliefs. As an pentecostal myself, I believed salvation is different from the gifts of the Holy Spirit. You can be saved even if there's no baptism of HS and the gifts thereof. I also don't believe "once saved, always saved". Try to analyze the Parable of the Sower (especially the 2nd seed) and the peril of falling away (Heb. 6:4-6). But if one returns back to the fold after falling away, God has provided enough grace for our way to return back to Him. God has provided us "free will" to make our decision like in Rev. 3:20 (Jesus knocking on the door). God does not force Himself to us but He love us so much that He provided a way thru Jesus dying on the cross.

    The difference between Heaven and Hell is religion. If Standifer is a born again Christian, then where is his testimony? I wouldn't want to be an accuser of the brother just because of my religion, what ever that may be. Jesus said go out preach the gospel, not condenm what you have not tasted or understand. Your religion is going to get you to hell mister, There were BELIEVERS that Apostle Paul asked if they had been baptized in the Holy Spirit which they knew nothing about. And afterwards they received. Don't take your followers with you, Repent!

    • @soundbibledoctrine2825

      You may have religion but I have Jesus Christ, not religion. I sure didn't see your testimony and I have never seen anyone's testimony on TH-cam channels. I didn't know I was an accuser of the brethren. Brethren are not false teachers but God's Word does tell us to point out the false teachers though. If anyone is the accuser of the brethren then you just accused me. You are welcome to falsely accuse me since Jesus is with me and protects me and helps me through each day. If I remember correctly, without looking it up, there are 24 of the NT books that teach us about false teachers. I don't know if you are a false teacher or not but you just falsely accused me of something that isn't true. I can and will condemn those that are false teachers if I am aware of them.
      The difference in heaven and hell is whether a person has accepted or rejected what Christ did on the cross for them 1 Corinthians 15:1-5 tells us about the death burial and resurrection of Christ.
      Also see:
      51, ¶ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
      52, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
      53, For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
      54, So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
      55, O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
      56, The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
      57, But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ
      Some of those who disagree with what is taught just try to make others look bad so they can look good. But not that it means anything to you or anyone when I tell you the following I am not bragging and seldom ever mention it. I have 38 years studying God's Word and have traveled all of the USA, Canada, and a good part of the world. I went to bible college, and have continued my studies for the past 38 years.

      You can backslide but God will chastise you until you return to Him or He takes you out of this world. If God doesn't chastise you then you were never saved. Following are God's Words about once saved always saved:
      Rom 8:38-39 KJV - 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
      Jhn 10:28-29 KJV - 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
      Jhn 10:28 KJV - 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
      Jhn 11:26 KJV - 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
      1Jo 2:1 KJV - 1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
      1Jo 1:9 KJV - 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
      Heb 7:25 KJV - 25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
      Jhn 17:11 KJV - 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
      Jde 1:1 KJV - 1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
      Heb 8:12 KJV - 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
      Eph 1:13 KJV - 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
      Eph 4:30 KJV - 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
      Jhn 10:27-30 KJV - 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one.
      Eph 4:30 KJV - 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
      Jhn 3:15 KJV - 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
      Rom 6:23 KJV - 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
      Jhn 5:24 KJV - 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
      Isa 43:25 KJV - 25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
      Heb 10:17 KJV - 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
      Psa 103:12 KJV - 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
      Rom 8:34 KJV - 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

      @@soundbibledoctrine2825 . Christ, St Paul, and St John teach that we can lose our salvation by not persevering to the end. We must believe and love to the end. If we sin seriously (eg: murder) and do not repent we will lose our salvation. 2. Paul also taught that our faith must be accompanied by good works. We must believe, and we must love, in our response to the free gift of Grace. He condemns the Works of the Old Jewish Law in Romans, but both he and Christ say good works of the New Law are essential and that we will be judged by them. All this is not the Protestant heresy of Once Saved Always Saved, and it is not the Protestant heresy of Faith Alone: 1. We will lose our salvation if we do not persevere: “He who PERSEVERES unto the end will be saved.” (Matthew 10:22) St John writes, Let what you heard from the beginning ABIDE in you. If what you heard from the beginning ABIDE in you, then you will ABIDE in the Son and in the Father. And this is what he has promised us, eternal life (emphasis added).(1 John 2:24) 1. Cor. 10:12- “Therefore, let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed LEST HE FALL” In 1 Corinthians 1:18, St. Paul writes, “For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are BEING saved-” notice that’s a present participle there, “being saved,” which indicates it’s a present state of salvation, an ongoing process. 1 Corinthians 4:3-4, where St. Paul himself says, “But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court; I do not even judge myself.” St. Paul is saying, “I’m not aware of any sort of sins that would take me away from God and destroy God’s life in my soul,” but he says, “I don’t even judge myself.” 1 Corinthians 9:26-27, St. Paul says "Well, I do not run aimlessly, I do not box as one beating the air; but I pommel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be DISQUALIFIED.“

    I was a church goer for 40 years in Assembly of God and gave that up 30 years ago. I gad a Penticostal divorce. People gossip and backstab others. Women run everything. It is a feminist institution like most American churches in America. Penticostals dont study Bible or teach much. How many times the old women take over the church service. Then the preacher says that he had a sermon prepared but he won't hold back the holy spirit. He gives up preaching. Then the musicians are orderd to play music and people singing, dance, speaking in tongues for two houres until everyone is worn out. No one dare speak up against this going on every Sunday. No one wants to accused of going against this and get rebuged by members. Every time you dissagree with this,. You will be accuesed of having a demon. Everything is spiritualized by spirits. They are into spiritualism. The spirit of this and the spirit of that. I think a lot of things people do are their own idea and not a demon. Preachers wives lead the w ok men who never shut up. How many have a word from God and prophesy for somebodies life. Lies! God has finally shown me to follow His Commandments. Jesus trumps teachings of Paul. Jesus said,. If you love me then keep my Commandments. He said that not tittle of the law will be done away with. How dare that Paul can start a new Revelation of teaching after Christ left the earth. If we become the new Israel then the laws of Moses still stands. I rest on the Sabbath now and work on Sunday. No more church of Laodesia religion from Rome

      I made the video about the Assemblies of God trying to help the members and trying to help non members get on the right path and avoid the Assemblies of God.
      You need to look at the apostle Paul again. Paul wrote what God had him to write, word for word, and nothing more.
      Look what Paul says in the Romans 1:1 “Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,”
      The church does not become the new Israel. That is a false teaching. The Israelites have been blinded temporary so they cannot see the way of salvation.
      There are some Jews that have seen through this blindness and seen that Jesus was their Messiah and become saved. When a Jew becomes saved today he is the same as a gentile that becomes saved, they are both in the bride of Christ.
      One thing the seven year tribulation was for is to remove the blindness of Israel and all who accept Jesus as their Messiah will be the new Israel and Jesus will come back at the end of the tribulation, His second coming, and rule over them and the world for the next thousand years.
      Ephesians 2;
      8, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
      9, Not of works, lest any man should boast.
      10, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
      Notice in verse 8 we are saved by faith and not by anything else. It is the gift of God and if we have to add anything to faith it is not a gift.
      Then verse 9 plainly tells us that we are not saved by works lest any man should boast.
      Then verse 10 tells us we are saved to do good works after we are saved which God before ordained that we should walk in them.
