Elvis' top three best movies are in my humble opinion "King Creole" 1958, "Flaming Star" 1960 and "Follow That Dream" 1962. No other movie Elvis made can be realistically proven to be better than these three, on par maybe but not better!

@@FactsVerse I think the very first time I saw (again) a very young Barbara Eden was when ABC showed the original "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea" on its "Sunday night movie" I did watch "I Dream Of Jennie" it had an astronaut, what red blooded American 5 years old wouldn't want to watch a show about an astronaut who was trying to get to the moon during the hight of the 60's space race. The funny woman in the "olden day" clothing was of little interest to that 5 year old who just wanted her to stop annoying the astronaut. Times do change, now, the only reason to watch the show is to lovingly look at that funny woman. I don't really have all the episodes memorized in order, for fun I look at the beginning of each episode, see what Barbara's costume looks like, say "That's 1st, 2nd or 3rd and beyond. No one has ever pointed these changes out, Barbara has talked about the changes in the first season, there were others, might make a interesting video.

Yes’ Elvis was good as usual in that movie ! the two songs were plenty ‘ Elvis should not have sang anymore then a song at the beginning of a movie , his music didn’t belong with the acting, that’s where , him and the Colonel should have drawn the line with Hollywood, 💁♀️💙🙏🕺
That's right. Elvis is so fit with movies which are combination of action, comedy, drama and musical. flaming star could have been successful if they added the song summer kisses winter tears during the film release. but the term disaster was exaggerated. it so happened that the film did not meet the income expected but still the film earned a penny.
I hate the title of this piece. First of all the idiot that released this film 4 weeks after the release of King Creole must have been drunk. It got no publicity or build up and people virtually didn't know of it's existence. It is one of Elvis best acting jobs of his career. True he doesn't sing but one song and the title song. It did one thing he wanted to accomplish it showed a convincing young man who is biracial, and his fight to fit into the world of the west, it not only had a message it was packed through with action and emotional events. Do yourself a favor, if you want a great western watch "Flaming Star", you will love it. Elvis is wonderful. A side note Elvis also wanted to do it because his great great grandma was full Cherokee Indian name "white dove". Thanks.
It's now clear as day; it all came down to the movie scripts that rotten Col. Tom Parker would green light to Elvis. He kept Elvis distracted and busy;. with mostly poorly written ( B ) movies. I always wondered why. Probably because Col. Tom was hellbent on the extra money made on cheaper movies to pay off his gambling debts. Elvis should have found a better manager. Watch the newest *Elvis* movie 2022 by Baz Lerman. Great movie. But sad look into Col. Tom's personality. Greedy, manipulative and cruel.

All I can tell you about Barbara Eden, was I met her about 10 years ago, and she wanted $10 to take a pic with my 2 year old special needs grandson. All my pre-pubescent fantasy of her went down the toilet
Sad. Maybe she was hard up for money or maybe just wanted to cash in. I hope you didn't pay the $10. If I were a famous actor I would have let you take as many pictures you wanted for nothing. After all without fans I would have been nothing.
Many of his songs were written by Jewish composers. They weren't complaining. And the African Americans he worked with had only good things to say about him, and thanked him for helping to get their music out to a wider audience.
@@joemarshall4226 two sides of a coin my friend. I would however like to know what Elvis hits were penned by Jewish composers and who those composers were. I must confess that this is the first time anyone's ever advanced that information to me.
@@Chris-is6xb "Jailhouse Rock" was one. By Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller....they also wrote "Love Me" "Loving You" "King Creole" "Hound Dog" "Kansas City", and "Don't"...more songs they wrote include"Charlie Brown" "Yakkety Yak", "" and Searchin" and they have writing credits on "On Broadway", "Stand By Me" and "Spanish Harlem" all done by African American artists. here's another one: "Can't Help Falling in Love" is a song recorded by American singer Elvis Presley for the album Blue Hawaii (1961). It was written by Hugo Peretti, Luigi Creatore, and George David Weiss and published by Gladys Music, Inc.[2] The melody is based on "Plaisir d'amour",[4] a popular French love song composed in 1784 by Jean-Paul-Égide Martini. I know "HArd-headed woman ws written by an African American author (Claude Demetrius, the piano player in Louis Jordan's band) but I'm guessing he got paid royalties, no? The song was also recorded by Wanda Jackson...much better than Elvis's version IMHO....it's a funny song,a nd elvis swallows the lyrics.
The ability to give "Goose bumps" and "hairs standing on the back of the neck" can not be "co-opted" or stolen from anyone, you either have that ability or you don't. Presley delivered that effect to millions of people across the world and even Elvis was perplexed by it. So the idea that Elvis' success is owed to other peoples music is a mute point. It was that incredible voice, that beautiful register/timbre and tone that sold records and it wouldn't have mattered what genre he did, goose bumps don't lie, so much so that millions would be quite happy to listen to him sing without anybody's music so they ought not flatter themselves. The only "co-opting" that appears to be going on is of Presley's success by those envious of his ability to deliver on that apparently unapproachable level.
Should have kept to singing and just do documentaries leave drama and comedy alone enough in real life! As he found when two guys tried to Get at him on stage and a comedic Situation when he said do you look At your bald head and wished you had hair!
Yeah he was that dumb that he made over 30 films and was the highest paid actor of the day.and how many movies have you done oh that's Wright none.dumb ass.

No….never heard of this flick .
Beautiful Jeannie and Elvis😁🇨🇦🇨🇦

I've seen Love Me Tender , G. I. Blues, Charro Loving you Paradise Hawaiiian Style, Follow That Dream. I've yet to watch still more.
Oh I also loved him in Kid Galahad
GREAT.MOVIE.LOVED.ELVIS.HERE.DID.GREAT.JOB..ELVIS.LOVE.HIM.
Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra hated each other
That's right. Elvis is so fit with movies which are combination of action, comedy, drama and musical. flaming star could have been successful if they added the song summer kisses winter tears during the film release. but the term disaster was exaggerated. it so happened that the film did not meet the income expected but still the film earned a penny.
Nothing with Elvis is bad
Thanks.
5:19 there is no “British accent”
It's now clear as day; it all came down to the movie scripts that rotten Col. Tom Parker would green light to Elvis. He kept Elvis distracted and busy;. with mostly poorly written ( B ) movies. I always wondered why. Probably because Col. Tom was hellbent on the extra money made on cheaper movies to pay off his gambling debts. Elvis should have found a better manager. Watch the newest *Elvis* movie 2022 by Baz Lerman. Great movie. But sad look into Col. Tom's personality. Greedy, manipulative and cruel.
Best ever elvis film
Well said, we strongly concur! Thank you for watching our content and for sharing your thoughts. What other types of video would you like to see?
Too bad. it was one of his best movies but his light comedies were good too
One of his. Best.
Absolutely, we feel the same way! Thank you for sharing your sentiments and for watching our content. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
I thought it was a great movie I can't understand why its not a more popular movie I liked it it also had other great actors in it I agree that stay away Joe was a not a good movie it was stupid
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. What other types of videos would you like to see on our channel?
I thought it was alright but him being acting like a Indian was wrong. the song was great
No I've never seen it and I've never heard of it.
Barbara Eden
Love the movie
One was beautiful and had class, the other was busy co-opting other people's music. People who were already being discriminated against by the way.
@@joemarshall4226 I was aware of L and S. They way you phrased your answer previously threw me.
As he found when two guys tried to
Get at him on stage and a comedic
Situation when he said do you look
At your bald head and wished you had hair!
You have NO IDEA what your talking about. Elvis and Barbara Eden were fine in this movie and it was a good movie

This guy is what you get when you put Geddy Lee into westerns. Absolutely no business in moving pictures. He even ran like he was on the spectrum.
Who is Geddy Lee?

Sounds like a BUNCH of jealous people complaining about Elvis ..... AGAIN ...... Whats New
I love all of Elvis movie s Stay Joe was the best
Glad to know that you're an Elvis fan. Which song of his appealed to you the most?
Elvis was the worst actor I have ever seen. But a very good singer.
The tragedy was that poor Steve Forrest had to try and keep from laughing at dumber than dirt Elvis' attempt at acting.
Pretty Stupid comment .
Yeah he was that dumb that he made over 30 films and was the highest paid actor of the day.and how many movies have you done oh that's Wright none.dumb ass.
