a lot of times when i listen to an orchestral cover for something, the composer doesn't do much besides plugging some midis of the song parts into instruments. this, on the other hand, feels like it has its own identity. it's very much in the spirit of orchestra, and invokes the same sense of adventure, and grandiosity. the little flourishes between parts, and the way you recontextualize segments of the song into a familiar orchestral style really make this an enjoyable listen.
You are severely underrated! Found you through reddit and I love this, every section seems very fresh, much like bill's original! Can't wait till your channel grows :)
I know this is an older video, but it's hella under appreciated. You perfectly captured the chaotic energy contained within the song while also giving it new life! You've earned a like from me, sir or madam.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. That section in particular was a lot of fun to write; I really got to mess with the meter of the original.
Calvin Dvorsky it certainly is! If saxophone were an orchestral instrument, I’d offer to lend my remote recording services 😂 Best of luck- I hope you soon get the recognition you deserve and have that opportunity!
This feels like the first orchestral remaster I've seen that feels like it was actually rewritten for an orchestra, not just a one-for-one MIDI smashed through a bunch of orchestral instruments. You RULE! Time to sub!

How is this so good? You've perfectly captured the chaotic nature of this music, it feels like it came straight out of a Looney Tunes/Tom and Jerry cartoon to me. Thank you for this masterpiece.
Glad you enjoy the orchestration! I don't believe there's any Locrian in it. From my transcription, it's all in F Major or F Minor (Ionian or Aeolian). Is there a particular part that sounds Locrian to you though?
@@calvindvorsky Nah, I'm probably off; I had the impression of hearing some E locrian in the middle section but I'm definitely not sure. Off topic but do you plan to post more originals? I liked your last video and I think you have amazing potential to put your own twist on the "wurtz" genre
This sounds like something I'd hear at 8:45 pm at Disney world while eating a churo and watching the fireworks
That is so incredibly specific that I can only assume it must be true.
when it's 8:45 and you're on the next flight?

Sounds like an American school fight song mixed with some anime theme-song and then a sitcom theme-song
This is the greatest compliment I have ever received thank you.

1:08 gives me vibes of being at sea and it's like uplifting like we shall go on yo ho or something idk

I am super impressed actually.
Loved the whole arrangement but that last chord was just spectacular
Those two aeroplanes are grooving
This sounds absolutely beautiful.
This is quite neat. Like the orchestra is at the airport. Great Job!
Sounds like it can be used in a 60's movie, good job btw

At the airport terminal the planes are landing
shwzshwzshwzshwzshwzshwzshwz
Traveling somewhere and it feels fantastic
Rolling across the terminal floor
[blblblblblblbong]
And the sky's so high and the ground's so low
And i think i'm dying but i'm just being born
At the airport terminal the planes are landing
Through the terminal we all shall go
At the airport terminal i feel so unusual
Everybody here is having an unusual day
It's 10:24 in an unusual time zone
And i'm feeling fine in an unusual way
And we're going so high as i'm flying so low
And i'm saying goodbye to the world i know
At the airport terminal the planes are landing
Through the terminal we all can grow
And it's time to let go
But i'm lying down on the terminal floor
And i'm running toward the terminal door
And i'm eating porridge but i've
Heated it for the wrong amount of time
At the airport terminal i feel so imaginative
Imagining where all the planes are going
When i'm there i'll imagine where i came from
Then i'll imagine my way back home
But it's 8:45 and i'm on the next flight
It's going around the world
And we'll fly through the night 'til the day becomes bright
Until the night returns
When will the night return?
