    Great content! thanks for sharing this info.
    I am surprised by one thing: if you create 150 listings from variations of one product, wouldn't that flood your store page and make it not navigatable? I guess maybe you use the categories to help filter them?

    So much amazing info! So for example... I will be adding in several downloadable planners and to do lists into my shop over the weekend. My first one is a weekly planner page. Are you saying to add it in under multiple "listings" using same product but titling it differently? So in one, I could write out "minimal weekly planner" and another for "adhd weekly planner" and another for "tropical weekly planner". NOTE: I'll add in more "long tail key words" but essentially, same product... different listing with different titles???

    Sellers need to know it's not enuff to create a niche and start selling, even if you get a lot of sales initially, other sellers will start copying you. Your listings will slowly take a back seat unless you pay Etsy more and more money to advertise so you can move your product upfront.

    I've heard not to make multiple listings of an item until it is selling. Would this apply to this strategy as well or maybe market it a few different ways and then see which niche sells more.

    This is a very useful piece of advice, thank you! l sell a lot of personalized baby hats, and now will copy successful listings and make SEO in each of the copies differently- e.g. according to an occasion (baptism/ baby shower/hospital hat etc.)- I have them all mixed up normally-. Thank you for all your advice, love your channel!

    When you are creating long tail keyword titles, are you just coming up with those on the fly based on your experience and what you assume your target customers are looking for? or are you doing a lot of keyword research first?... and if you are doing the research, how do you go about that? I am trying to research using Etsy search and Erank, but I feel like I'm missing something and not coming up with the best long tail SEO titles.

      Her reply wasn’t very helpful, but it’s important that you do research on the keywords and keep up with trendy words related to your product and also see what your competitors are using. I’ve seen many use “Sale samurai”for keyword analysis and then put the most popular/less competition one as the first word on your listing’s title. Also, think what other keywords your customer would type in to search for a product like yours. Be generic-specific-specific-with your keywords in that order. Ex: Wedding invitation minimalist gold vegan ink.

    Thanks for the tips. I thought we can't sell more than one listing for the same product even though we use different keywords and titles. Not sure if Etsy policy allows.

      Upload variations of it daily and use different keywords for that specific listing. Do some keyword research to see what are the strongest keyword for your product (also look at your biggest competitors) and be generic-specific-specific. Ex: Wedding invitation minimalist beige and gold or something.

    Really good video , but wanted to ask would it be appropriate to show in the Etsy listing photos why this product is different from all the others like writing it in the mock up photos or is that a bit of a trashy tactic ?

    • @rain0344
      @rain0344 ปีที่แล้ว

      is not a trashy tactic if you are focusing on the benefits and differentiation factors of your products instead of pointing out that x other products is, for example, cheap. On your listing you can mention that your product has super good quality.

    Etsy’s best practice says it’s not necessary to repeat keywords because it pulls from the entire title. Wouldn’t this title strategy take away from using so many more keywords?

    Are you sure with the titles here? Etsy doesn't like repeating keywords in titles as they say they capture keywords and mix them as needed, so repeating same words is a waste of space.
