Well done for discovering this great song from the first "supergroup". I grew up in London in the 60s and they were one of my three favourite groups. The Jimi Hendrix Experience and the ORIGINAL Fleetwood Mac (with the guitar virtuoso Peter Green - not the later version of the group) were the others.
Hi Robert M ... Agreed. When I heard "Sunshine" I was hooked. "Fresh Cream", Disreali Gears", "Wheels Of Fire" (simply an incredible album) and "Goodbye" are all fantastic albums. I couldn't get enough Cream! Enjoy ...
Mate, I've known this track for over 50 years and thought I knew it inside out and back to front but your interpretation has got me thinking about it in a completely different way. Thanks for reacting to this and for your incisive commentary. Keep on truckin
Hi Speed ... Same here. Though different styles, I think of this song along with Tull's "We Used To Know" are slightly dreamy and I get lost in the songs. How can you get 3 most perfect players in one group. Cream was special! Keep rockin' ... 😎🎸✌
Hi, try the alternate take of the song from the reunion concert, you can see how ginger is using his kit more like timpani & Eric plays beautifully. Also I recommend Jacks daughter - Aruba Red - stripped back version with just guitar, awesome.
Such a fantastic sound, and of course the lyrics.
Have you seen Beware of Mr Baker, about Ginger, wow crazy guy.
