Taco Time! Today we hit the road from our shop in Canoga Park, CA to this little hole in the wall taco spot called Tortilla House in Ojai, CA. We have always seen a line of people outside of this place when we roll through town and we knew it was time to give it a try. First off, their claim to fame is the hand made corn and flour tortillas and they close shop as soon as they run out of the fresh masa. So we hit the road in hopes to grab some tacos before they run out!
This is one of our favorites rides, taking the 118 freeway through Simi Valley over to the 23 Grimes Canyon Road through the Santa Susana Mountains which drops us into Fillmore. From there we hook a left at Bardsdale Ave to South Mountain Road an awesome road through farmland over to Santa Paula where we hit the 150 (Ojai RD.) which drops you right into the small town of Ojai, CA. Ojai is also well known for the Johnny Cash House which he designed and built in 1961.

My FXDX was leaking from the trans behind the primary pretty easy to replace all those while you are in there though. That bike is turning out great!

Hell yea! 🤘🏻 You guys should totally make an air cleaner cover. Ide buy one! My 15’ dyna has been wobbling between 80-90 ever since I converted it from spokes to mags. Cannot figure it out, been chasing it since November.

@@JohnSmith-de2mz Yup, new tires. Tried different pressures. Almost replace the front shocks but they were not stock and in good shape. Rear shocks are not that old either

You guys need to try Tacos Los Cholos Filet Mignon Tacos and there Papas Loka ,Soo good .Theres one in Fullerton and its also coming soon to our Hometown Huntington Beach.Also for Al Pastor I highly recommend Tacos El Gordo in Chula Vista.We love watching you every week and seeing all of your eating spots and rides,come visit us In Huntington Beach for a ride down PCH.

Take 33 over the mountains and turn left to Santa Maria. Go north on 101 to SLO and grab some BBQ at Firestone. Awesome 300 mile ish day ride. One of my favorite rides.
Had the same problem with my 2015 street bob. Fork brace and new tires, problem solved. Engine stabilizer is next, just so 120mph isn't a problem. JUAN has my vote for a cover design. Fish tacos!

Ojai was always one of my favorites out there. I did however crash my ‘06 ZX6R on the tight section of 150 right before you get to the city of Ojai. I need to get my Harley out to Cali sometime soon.

I love Ojai! I cruised the same backroads up there right after christmas when I was off work. it was lightly raining that day and just beautiful! Ojai Beverage Co. for the win with the sandwich/beer!
Make sure the neck is packed with grease, tires are not out dated or cracked, check the wheel bearings, and the most over looked, make sure the neck is adjusted right, should be a 1-2 Fall away. Enjoy your new bike. Keep killing it.

Did you go west on Plummer around the Reservoir to Box Cyn to Santa Susana to Kuehner to 118 West? That's a bonus Canyon ride. All the rest... Princeton to Spring to Grimes, to South Mtn Rd is the Bomb. Except for that one big dip in the road on South Mtn Rd coming back.... too fast and it wrecks my lower back / spine with compression. Gotta slow down for that one, or stand up on the pegs before you hit it. Check out Bocalli's Italian on far East end of town in Ojai if you like Italian. They don't open before 12 noon on weekends, maybe 11 on weekdays.
Just picked up a 2022 lowrider s and I had a 131 kit put in it and it rocks man just thought I would share. Love what you guys are doing.

The 01 FXDX issue is mainly because it's so narrow at a 28° rake, the skinner tires and sit up taller. You feel the groves and you want to set up your suspension, get engine stabilizers.

Replace your engine mounts front and rear on the DX. My 05’s front engine mount was fully blown out and it wobbled badly over 80. I changed them and there’s no wobble whatsoever anymore. The front alone solved 90% of it.

those older dynas like the steerring stem nut to be tighter than spec! If the steering stem bearings/nut and tires are good, it should be wobble free up front.

Awesome! Rode down 33 and past the Taco joint last April. Had to run north from Palmdale towards Canada next day and wasn't able to drop by your shop. Bike is in Cabo, and heading North again this April, and hope to drop in at the new address. Where is it located? Looks awesome!

Please for the love of god make a air cleaner cover , i would buy one yesterday in chrome . I have been running the same style Arlen ness center bolt for years . Kruesi makes one but not wild on the stunt bunny logo . Plus I’m brand specific . I have T⚡️S everything on my road glide . If you made that and a transmission faux clutch cover I would be set !
