I use a 40' longboard with some c7s ripped from a surf skate and not only is it as fast since I don't bomb hills but it means I can pump and go way faster than my smaller surf skate. It makes going to to get coffee obnoxiously fun. More speed surf skate plz!!!

Surf Cruiser. Best of both worlds. Everyday Cruiser, perfect for urban street conditions and lets you pump and carve with ease. Very stable even when ridden on only one foot or/and downhill. The tight wheelbase feels very responsive and reduces turning radius even more.

It’s all technique based but on a good surf skate like a yow or smooth star you will never have to push again. You can literally pump from a standstill

What’s the difference between this type of surf skateboard and a cruiser?
Hello, I am a 6’1 dude with size 10.5 shoes who really wants to get into cruising. I am finding it difficult to chose a board. Would the classic dinghy be a good fit ? (I want the board to be portable that’s why I’m not looking into longboards)
Classic Dinghy or Tugboat if you want something a little wider are great options

Can someone tell me the advantages of the Surf skate? Or how it’s different from the other boards
The trucks are designed/angled for more momentum from pumping, and a more "surf-like" turning experience. Some surfers use them to train when they can't surf, others in locations where there is no surf, and while not entirely ideal, they can also be used for long-distance pumping.
Do you think it would support a 350 pound Bigfoot?
Maybe with risers and smaller wheels perhaps to avoid them nasty wheel bites. But lemme know. Im a big dude myself

I own a Butter, I like how it turns but the front truck bushing squeaks like a cheap skateboard, not happy about that.
Take it apart and throw some carnauba wax like used for polishing cars on the bushing. It will turn like a dream, condition the rubber bushing and hush up the squeak.

They've discontinued the Wrecktangle, but if we can get guys like you to message those designers at Landyachtz and pester the shit out of them for discontinuing the Wrecktangle, maybe they'll make it again lol.
I can't tell which one each person is attempting to describe. I'm not expert enough to understand this presentation.

You know, I like LY, they have good stuff, I’ve bought a couple boards from then, but this surfskate honestly seems like trash. It’s in the price range of true surfskates like carver and yow but the mechanism is basically a normal truck with weird geometry rather than an actual surfskate mechanism which is apparent by how it’s being ridden. LY has some good team riders that can make any board look good but somehow even they can’t make this look like a fun surfskate. Really missed the bar here.
Isn't this "normal truck with weird geometry" exactly the same as the Carver C5?
More like longboards less like surfskates. If you want to check a real surfskate, try YOW or Smoothstar.
I love landyachtz seriously my favourite board brand ever but this surfskate is a bit 💩 compared to actual surfskates please landyachtz stick to what your good at!!
