- Ep263: I recently upgraded my finishing room with a turntable platform for making finishing a breeze. Many folks have expressed interest in it, so in this episode I show you a closer disassembled view of how it was made. It reminded me of a Lazy Susan which makes a convenient and fun table centerpiece. The turntable mechanism is identical so I demonstrate how it’s installed on a beautiful sunburst veneered round top. Hope it spurs some fresh ideas for you! (Closed captions)

I'm on a tight, really tight budget so I make my own. I buy marbles from yard and garage sales and route to grooves in the wood. Fill with marbles and attach in the center. It's not as smooth as the purchased turntables but I usually only have 1 or 2 bucks in the marbles and the rest is just my time.
Extra hello to the camera expert.
Actually for a couple of dollars more you want "Aluminium Alloy Turntable Bearing, Heavy Duty Swivel " MUCH quieter and stable.
