I'm getting ready to build a garage bench and a woodworking bench for my basement shop. I've watched many bench building videos. You did a nice job on this. well done!
Well boss I was trained by my grandfather with an ancient shop smith he found in pieces in a field, bravo boss I new you we're special
Great job on this, much respect for hogging out those mortises like a real man!!
Congrats!
So much hard work! It’s beautiful. Great job. 🥰
That's a real nice bench! It will eat your old bench for breakfast!
Nice work!
Beautiful job, thanks for sharing your time and talent!
nice job
That’s an awesome bench 👏👍 Video was really well put together too 👍
Hermoso trabajo.... Una mesa de trabajo fuerte... Impecable... Te felicito... Un abrazo desde Chile 🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱
Great looking bench. Thank you for sharing the video...
That's a really nice build, young man. Well done. Subscribed.
Good job. Thanks for posting.
Looks great and great job
Great video. I wouldn't have glued the bread board end onto the tenons. This will not allow for the expansion and contraction of the top and may lead to cracks and even breakage in the ends.
100th subscriber! LOL
You gave me a couple of good ideas for my third iteration for my workbench!
That's awesome! Thanks for subscribing
Nice bench! Definitely has given me a few design ideas for my next bench build. Just curious, but by completely gluing the breadboard ends on, are you concerned about the top possibly warping due to wood movement?
I'm not concerned about it, but if it does warp like a bannana, I'll post an update about it on instagram.
If anything the wood itself will crack. If you don’t live in an area with wide temp variations prolly won’t be an issue
Great video. Keep at it - i’m looking forward to seeing more from you! I’m sure it won’t explode in a shower dust and chips from all the wood movement 😅
One piece of constructive (i hope) critique. The narration sounds a lot like you reading out loud from a manuscript - it’s a bit jarring. If so, maybe you could try to just remember the key points, and then speak it out in a natural language like you would, if your viewers were right there in the workshop with you.
Leaning over the table saw to check your cut, with string from your hoodie dangling down makes me nervous.
That makes me nervous too, thanks for watching! I appreciate your feedback.
I guess you don't care or don't know about wood movement? Otherwise an excellent workbench/table thing.
I'll keep you posted, thanks for watching :)
Likely didn’t know I’m thinking. Better to be helpful than sarcastic
What he said about hoodie strings and long sleeves too. If you have a cold shop gonna wear long sleeves.
Bench turned out very nice. Not sure what the deal is with that face vice though.
