  • Ghost pepper pickle recipe
    Learn how to make ghost pepper pickle at home. Ghost pepper is a very healthy but unexpectedly hot.
    In 2007, Guinness World Records certified that the Ghost pepper was the world's hottest chili pepper, 170 times hotter than Tabasco sauce more than one million Scoville Heat Units(SHUs).
    Consuming Bhut Jolokia(Ghost pepper) on a regular basis has prevented cancer,heart-related disease,skin related diseases, low-blood sugar and even produces anti-oxidant. It's basically originated from Northeast part of India(Assam & Nagaland).

    Ingredients:---
    Ghost pepper------------250g
    Cumin seeds------------ 1 Tablespoon
    Coriander seeds--------- 1.1/2 Tablespoon
    Mustard seeds---------- 1 Tablespoon
    Ajwain------------------ 1/2 Tablespoon
    Black pepper----------- 1/2 Tablespoon
    Fennel seeds------------ 1.1/2 Tablespoon
    Bay leaves--------------- 2 leaves
    Chilli flakes-------------- 2cork
    Roasted salt-------------- 1 Tablespoon
    Mustard oil--------------- 1lit
    Long chillies------------- 100gm
    Making Procedure:-----
    Put on gloves to avoid extreme hotness of Ghost pepper. Then start cutting of ghost pepper into pieces & collect all in a big bowl.
    After that to prepare masla,take.......
    cumin seeds, Coriander seeds, mustard seeds, fennel seeds & roast them together in a pan. Also add bay leaves. After roast keep in rest for sometime, then grind roughly with the help of a mixture grinder.
    Now in another bowl take some pieces of ghost pepper & add masala powder,also add some chilli flakes,roasted salt as per taste. Then mix them well & put under sunrays for atleast 6 hours.
    Take 1 lit mustard oil & heat for sometime,then keep to cool.
    Take a glass jar & transfer dried ghost pepper into it & put mustard oil . Now keep it in rest for a day atleast.
    To maintain the hotness of Ghost pepper add some long chilli with same procedure.
    Now again follow same procedure & prepare final layer of ghost pepper and add in the same glass jar.
    After that fill the pickle jar with mustard oil(heat for 10mins & make it cool),which will preserve the pickle for whole year.
