I applied to Brown University - Early Decision and was accepted! AAAaaahhhhhh! This is the video portfolio I submited to Brown and I just wanted to share this video with you guys. I hope it helps or brings a smile :) feel free to comment or ask questions!

i have a disgusting obsession over people’s illnesses esp from medieval times and how they treated it like how they believed superstitious methods would cure henry viii's syphilis or sum, it's so nasty but addictive to learn ab diagnoses after the fact lmaoo - so glad i can finally relate to someone abt this😩 and well done girly, huge congrats!

It's so interesting to see how some universities accept students with essays, video essays, and such. It's based on personalities as well. In my country, you have to study, study more, get good grades, get a good result from the basic requirement test, get a good result from the field proficiency test and that's how you apply. The only thing they look at is your grades. How you grew up, what are your interests, why do you want to apply, etc. none of them really matter. That's why I've been the most boring person with no hobbies. Life is challenging. I hope I make it out of this "life isn't worth living unless I become academically successful" phase.
If you’re still in high school, you still got a chance to work hard and study in the US… I believe in you!!

it is optional but highly recommended, i know a few other colleges ask for a vid too -- i had lots of fun making it haha ;))

it turns out cold emailing teachers (profs now) works better than you'd think - hope you found and lab and if not-- keep searching for yours!
