Agree 100%! You have to have time for yourself to be able to recover mentally and also physically. I started my woodworking business for myself to be able to make what I wanted to and not be tied down to dead lines and employees. But, I got myself caught working 7 days a week, 12 to 15 hours a day trying to meet certain dead lines and I even tried to hire an employee. Good thing they person never showed up for work.. LOL Take time for yourself and your partner.... Keep up the good work!
I know what you mean by work burnout, I drive a commercial truck 5 to 6!days a week, when I get home I'm so tired of the road and fighting with traffic that I don't what to see a car at all, but the time I spend in my shop is what relaxes and renews my spirit. If it wasn't for woodworking I be a drinker
Wow I can only imagine how though it’ll be to drive a commercial truck for that long. And yeah, woodworking really does have a therapeutic and calming effect - despite some of the loud machinery lol. I’m glad you are able to heal your spirit through woodworking. Wishing you the best, Carlos!💪
Gary is right! I have come across several wood working channels (never watched any of them regularly), but for some reason I keep finding myself coming back to Clara’s channel. And I hardly do any wood working myself lol. Keep doing you!
I am from Tennessee pollen capital of the WORLD. Find a supplier of local honey be sure it's LOCAL. This alone helped my alergies more than any kind of over counter stuff. The table looks fantastic, I like the fact you are not afraid to step out of the comfort zone. I am building a dresser for the first time, For my first grandchild arriving in June. No pressure at all. Keep up the great work, You inspire more than you know.
Thanks Chris! It gets tough at times for sure and the looooong days we’ve spent recently have really started to drain us lol… At least today, we’re taking a break to relax and recover 🙌
i think there nothing wrong with brand partnership as long as you don't feel the need to compromise your creativity. turning your hobbies into work can be stressful. I think there something romantic about showcasing your magnum opus catalog to a large number of people. Does turning commercial take a way some of your credibility , i Don't know.
The only thing that could stop you is quitting. You and your partner are too good at this not to succeed. You know this already, but it's a marathon - not a sprint.
Thank you! And you’re absolutely right - it is a marathon. It really helps to hear again and again - especially from other motivated people - energizing even, so I appreciate that :-)
Beautiful, creatively talented and inspiring, Clara 😊
Thank you!! :-)

Yeah I agree - as long as one stays true to themselves and who they are, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it :-)
