Level will boost your base stats and you can deal more dmg if enemies that have higher lvl than you (apparently there is a dmg reduction for this) Light cone EXP will also boost the base stats, which will affect buffs you receive from other characters/relics Traces are guaranteed stats increase for dmg/healing/utility etc. Relics keep them last, because there is a lot of RNG involved, and it is better worth to upgrade things that will make your characters stronger on the spot rather than gambling on relics. The ones you get form doing puzzles will keep you well over TB 60. Dw about credits. For me, the credits from the events and the main story kept me until TB 60, which then all the things double in prince almost.
Once you get to Ascension 3, look through the materials needed for lvl 70 before actually ascending, don't rush in without needed materials, get easy clears to farm and only ascend when you got enough for you main team. That's how i saved up 2 mil creds with events and relics, it's kinda boring but it's good to ascend knowing you won't get your arse kicked seconds after
The material drought is real. But we gotta be patient. The game has only been out like 2 months or something. If we were able to max everything out already we’d get bored. So I don’t mind taking it slow. Having said that. Even taking it slow I’m already like TL 51. So yeah even slower would be better.
To be honest, I also don't mind the slow pacing of maxing everything, because I have something to look forward to when I play Star Rail. (farming relics is excluded, it would take months worth of TB power to max a character imo)

I am trailblaze 56 and I am wondering if I should spend trailblaze powder on relics, mats, ascension mats, or golden calyx, trailblaze 60 will be the death of me
@@puwi8168 i did it at like TB 53 or smt after i did some trace materials grinding and then i just spend the rest on the books and the credits you dont even need that much its only like 460k or smt credits to ascend to level 80 and then level it up to level 80 it might take a little bit but it doesn't make of much of a difference anyways but you wanna ascend it to be able to level up to level 80 so u can max out the character traces
While everyone farmed tb levels I sat down at tb45 and stood back up rich with credits and loaded with ascension mats and trace mats and some good relics (my relic luck is where all my regular banner character luck went. Almost always get the piece I want from cavern and echoes of war)
TB Level 60 soon... We're at the real endgame, folks. It all comes back to no TB Power to farm the credits you don't have, the LC/Trace mats you can't upgrade because no credits, then there's the ascension mats as it is... At least Echo of War isn't so ba-- WHAT DO YOU MEAN I NEED CORES AND CROWNS FOR MY TRACES NOW?!

I’m f2p too, honestly just upgrade the characters that you like using the most (for me, it’s asta) and upgrade the team around that character. since Asta buffs everyone’s fire damage, I slapped on two more fire characters to play with her, then upgraded them.
Because this game is not that strict compared to genshin, characters that you like by design or gameplay take priority over character that you should build in my opinion. That said, you should build whoever you enjoy the most, lore wise or gameplay wise.
Farm ascension mats -> no credits
Farm credits -> no ascension mats
Farm ascension mats -> no exp
Farm exp -> no credits
Farm credits -> no traces mats
Farm traces mats -> no credits
Farm relics -> no relics
It do be like that, I still like farming traces untill lvl 60 cause they are guaranteed stats

A few days away from hitting Trailblaze level 60 and i wonder if 4 million credits and like 800 books is enough to level 80 my main team
