girl dw abt the taking blood from real people, etc - one time I had to get blood drawn and I hadn't prepped for it or anything bcs the dr only decided I should at the appt - the poor woman on duty stuck the needle in my arm abt three times, couldn't get anything, tried moving it around, eventually gave up and moved to the other one - and I was fine! It was chill :))

Next time you draw blood (veno puncture) rest your 2nd and 3rd fingers on the skin when holding the hub with your Thumb on top. It gives you more stability and helps you to not toll the vein!

Oh...always draw blood from a vein you feel...not see. Close your eyes and feel it, it should be spongy and substantial in size..if too thin it will roll or blow once the needle is in.
