Hi Ecem! It was so pleasant for me as a Ukrainian to see you trying out cottage cheese pancakes which are actually a Ukrainian dish called “syrnyky”! The reason you had to add a lot more flour is the difference in the cheese itself, as Slavic kind of cottage cheese is very dry, but even so you absolutely nailed this dish 😍 Happy that you liked it ;)

Hi, it’s a common dish in Ukraine, and over here we traditionally either use wheat flour or semolina. But technically the recipe will work with oat flour too!
