I have previously flown with Oman Air from London to Muscat when they used Airbus aircraft. The seat pitch in economy class was 34 inches and there were 8 seats across. Since moving to the Boeing 787-9 aircraft the seat pitch has reduced to 31 inches and there are 9 seats across. As I'm 6'3 tall, it's disappointing they have reduced the seat space in economy class, because it was one of the reasons why I chose to travel with Oman Air. The food, inflight entertainment and service from the cabin crew has always been excellent.

Hello, i’m confused because i can see people carry two bags (handbag/backpack & small luggage) for carry-on baggage but doesn’t economy class only allow 1 carry-on? Are both bags have to be all in total 7kg or is the handbag/accessory bag an exemption?
You can carry a Laptop Bag or Handbag along with one 7 Kg hand luggage. Hope this is clear. What ever you purchase in Duty free is additional. Some airlines measure hand luggage before boarding as well. Depends on airline.
The most disgusting malicious nasty airline with an appalling damaged baggage policy where after 3 years you just have to give up....Heathrow Office utterly disgraceful
I saw several negative feedbacks by customers regarding their baggage handling issues and refund processing. Something for Oman Air to address. Which leg you flied with them?
@@sayansclicks I'm far from joking....London Bangkok January 29th 2020 !!!! They've prevaricated for 3 YEARS ! They finally agreed to pay a figure in November 2022.....supplied bank details....guess what ! Nothing !

I can understand the pain, hope they improve or they may vanish soon. Noticed their services are poor when it comes to the flights to South Asia/Asia and they tend to show some standards on the flights to Europe...

Best to buy seats from Oman Air direct as its cheaper than through agents. Cost me £30.60 for 4 aisle seats of my choice in economy for my 4 flights.
