The weird toilet is actually a modification of a 19th century design called a "high-cistern toilet". Having a high cistern probably provided a better flush in the old, low-pressure plumbing systems. Nowadays, people don't really like having cisterns right under the ceiling, so they modified it into a "mid-cistern toilet", which is what the new one you see in game is.
On these properties, I also considered mowing the lawn, but 1) it would be a massive task each time, and 2), I feel like the longer grass actually fits the vibe of the country houses. I kinda struggled with this one, even though I love it. I get the house has this wooden cabin vibe, but the wooden walls are a bit much, especially when you ALSO have a wooden floor and even wooden furniture that you then have to make sure doesn't look awful in the wooden room. The candles are in a case because they're storm laterns, meant for outside, the case protects them from the wind or rain, But people like the aesthetic, so inside it is. But a job well done overall!
I had to go looking for a video to help with fitting the iguana tank in that spot. I knew it had to go there because there was nowhere else! I just couldn’t fit it. I moved a light and kept checking to see if the was any other items blocking it. I even nudged one of those posts that hold the beams up and nothing worked. I watched your video and you had a light switch but I did not. But I knew if you got it in there it had to fit. I FINALLY got it to go. It’s a super tight fit with no wiggle room 😖 When I first went in there to do that job I thought it was a strange house and wanted to just get in there, do the job and get out. But the more I worked on it the more I kind of liked it. Then when I discovered I could actually jump down and go to the beach I decided I had to buy it! 🤗 But the house has way more potential than what the iguana lady did with it. Of course I have a bigger budget than she does 😁 It’s going to be fun!
I love seeing how different other people do these missions, Just got the pets dlc myself, I'm playing on steam deck and it plays great with tons of workshop assets
42:20 Why you have not seen that kind of toilet, is most likely because you are young, and places where those kinds of toilets have been used, are mostly renovated to a more modern design. I have seen such designs... on houses that were built before or just after WWII and have not been renovated, or have held on to what ever they had, and what was still well functioning, while renovating. And the sauna... I do think the devs have done those poorly, But almost every single video, or screen cap I have seen have been worse... Heat goes up, Steam goes up, and you again placed the sauna benches only on floor, and did not stack them at all. You are expected to sit up high. Not barely off the floor. Stack them up to at least 2 layers, and another row in front of it which you can rest your feet on, and which you use to climb on to the seats that have been stacked up. You go to sauna to get sweaty, not to catch cold.

Wow man I wanna comment on The houses for this episode man they're so magical there's so much place in that village u can go on an ATV or swim and or play with ur most outside there like the place in the pet dlc is so beautiful and magical

this house was glitched for me, it wouldn't let me put those 2 big windows in and kept saying the bathroom ceiling wasn't done but it was, i hate it when jobs do this to you.
