    Her cat is the one from Episode 3 - A Chance to Change, where the neighbor's cat got in the house, antagonized the dog, and the kids set the parents bedroom on fire.

    Having done essentially this in real life for friends, this is actually super helpful. Not in the context of the game, but in real life because it means you don't need to deal with not having the shit you need, because, you know, no magic tablet. Its funny how the thing that's the most helpful in real life is a pain in the ass in the context of a game.

    Thanks for the vid! It made this one so much easier for me. I get overwhelmed pretty easy.

    Yep, this is the one that everyone hates. This is one of the ones I had to split into two gameplay sessions myself because moving things in from outside and low fps don't make for an enjoyable experience over a super long period of time.
    Tip for the next job (Quality Upgrade) : Check the whole dock area. There's something that needs doing there but won't show up if you just slightly wander onto it.

    This feels like an object recognition exercise more than an order for a customer. Also, having to haul a double bed up the scaffolding really broke my immersion... That's why everyone hates this bit.

    Random but started binge watching your Planet Coaster videos and boy have I been missing out! That game is awesome!

    I prefer this method when playing house flipper. Everything is laid out ready to go. I don't think it was a matter of knowing the name of the objects but just common sense as to what object was obvious for each room. Except paintings obviously they can go anywhere. Feel like Toogi overcomplicated or overthought the job.
    Side note: for anyone only getting to play this on console, if you go to the tablet and tasks, it shows you what you need to get from the garden

    Just got house flipper the other day so looking at the dlcs so I can see if they are worth it since just got 60k but haven't bought a house to flip yet

      They dlc’s are soooo worth it. They add many more options for decorating, plus many more jobs to do and houses to purchase and renovate!
      You could consider playing the base game until you get those jobs done, and then purchasing each dlc after you finish the jobs for the previous one. That way it’s not a whole pile of new items all at once, and gives you time to get familiar with the new items from each pack separately. But if you keep an eye out on steam, they do go on sale every so often!

    • @Megatronstories
      @Megatronstories 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tiffanyvollmerhausen5818 yeah the pets and luxury dlc looks amazing going to get further at least till all skills are maxed on base game before any dlcs

    • @tiffanyvollmerhausen5818
      @tiffanyvollmerhausen5818 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Megatronstories the garden one is actually really nice, too… mainly because you get to cut the grass! I’m not sure if they added that to the base game after it came out, but if not, cutting the grass makes all of the properties look SOOO much nicer! If they added cutting the grass as a base game function, the garden dlc may not be as worth it. (I bought the garden dlc as soon as it came out, so I didn’t notice if they did or not.)

      @tiffanyvollmerhausen5818 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      As I suspected.
      I completely agree with you! I like that they did something different. But I hated the trips in and out to get furniture!
      For anyone who hasn’t done this job yet, a good tip.. if you don’t know what an object looks like based off of the name, you can search that name in the tablet and look at the picture, which helps with making sure you find the correct object outside.

    What I did was open the windows and put furniture inside that way for the downstairs, then put all the upstairs stuff on the balcony while I was trying to configure the room. Not the most fun of jobs but it’s… unique?

    that is good thing and bad thing about this good thing we don't have to spend our money but thing is that as you said we have to go back and forth and remember what we need to get and is a lot of hustles at first when I start this mission I thought great I don't have to spend my money on it but then thought about it again have to go back and forth to get everything

    Pedantic: A _pedant_ is someone excessively concerned with formalism, accuracy and precision, or one who makes an ostentatious and arrogant show of learning. Or in other words, she's smarter than you and talks like an arrogant snob to make sure you _know_ she's smarter than you.
    "She really likes big words"... yes, because she is _pedantic._ Either that, or she has a form of obsessive-compulsive personality disorder. (Many pedants do.)
    Foible: a minor weakness or eccentricity in someone's character. In this case, probably eccentric; alternately, her 'minor weakness' is that she loves her pets a little too much.

  • @suzyqc7607able
    @suzyqc7607able 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    pedantic is almost always an insult, referring to someone who is annoying for their attention to minor detail, or snobbish expertise in a narrow or boring topic.
    tbh, You were being as pedantic as she, in that.. you did not do this house any justice.. I've seen you do much better work.. Not an A, Maybe a D-
