A new edition of Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game is due for release before christmas. Game looks like it will get a refresh of some of it 20+year old models, all to tie in with the release of the animated film War if the Rohirm. I'm pretty excited for it tbh, it's a great game and the new box looks like a good way to get started.
THIS !! People underestimate how good the MESBG is ! What they've shown so far looks awesome. I really hope they do an update to the rest of the factions like they did to Rohan warriors .... classic looking sculpts with greater details/definition.
It does mean you can't buy two boxes and make a full 2000 point army. It matters less if you buy a standard modern big knight box because you want to field Canis Rex in which case you'll have extra bits to make other big knight variations
If you’re starting a knights army, absolutely worth it yes. You’ll want to magantise the knights and buy a regular questoris to get all the weapons. This channel did a video on it a few weeks ago for a deep dive

Is the Knight’s one worth it? I hear it doesn’t come with options for the big knight, does that matter much?
I don’t think its worth it tbh, especially if you have to get it from GW
The real cost/benefit of the big knights is that you can magnetize them. Removing that ability *dramatically* reduces the box's value imho.
