10 years in Finland: A true story of an Italian in Finland

- October 2023 marked my 10th anniversary since moving to Finland. As promised, I made a video in which I tell how, when and why I moved and what these 10 years in Finland have been like, also answering the questions left on Facebook and Instagram.

Finland has been voted as the happiest Nation in the World - for 7 years in a row ! A Swedish Team & TH-cam - came all the way over to find out... what is behind all this... as YES THEORY - INVESTIGATING - I dont share their metodhs - but they are from the Nation of ALFRED NOBEL - so they have their own scales ! This quite funny - to see some random Swedes in Finland to go sauna & make all this take place ! Worth a watch & have and share some Fun ! Cheers to ALFRED NOBEL

A true Italian loves (good) food! I am a Finn and i really like the lunch and dinner times used in the most of European countries, not the ones we have here. Yes, agree about our home cooked food lacking taste, or soul and love. Isn't metal just wonderful music that can lead to adventures. ❤️
I'm glad you have fulfilled your dreams of living in Finland and to be physiotherapist. And you are living metal dream when you are doing interviews and taking pictures of shows. And Metal Pizza is part of your dreams.
I think Finland fits the happiest country.

Can you tell us more stories from metal shows? What was the best festival and concert in Finland where you have been to? And in another countries?
Have you visited some interesting places in nature in Finland? I'm not sure how to describe it. Some interesting forests or hills. There must be beautiful nature. What animals are there? Have you ever feel that some places are somehow magical?
You said you are dreamer. Dreaming is great. Have you written any stories?

I'm surprised how Pium Paum (Vipula Vapula) song, in Italy works in a different context. It is sung by an Italian-Finnish woman. It was also a surprise how Italian cities in Finland use the Italian written form, with some exceptions. Laco di Pudas is one of my favorite commercials.
Have You ever heard of the song called - Olen suomalainen ! It is an Italian song called - IL Solo Italiano by TOTO ! KARI TAPIO - is known by Finns as TOTO is by Italians ! #1Q Have You been to REPOSAARI - where a famous Hollywood movie WHITE NIGHTS - with Isabella Rosselini was filmed ! Family Rosselini is very well known in Finland too !
Should I do a video in which I talk about Italian songs that were "translated" in Finnish and became big hits?
L'Italiano by Toto Cotugno is the most famous in Finland, the lyrics are very different compared to Olen Suomalainen by Kari Tapio. Interesting topic.
I have been in Reposaari, but I have never watched White nights 😬.
@@crix4e There are several TH-cam Videos to watch about the movie WHITE NIGHTS ! As Have You ever heard The theme song - Say You - Say me ? This movie is from the time 1985 - No Hollywood production could film in Russia - so Helsinki is as Leningrad ! Many shown TH-cam videos are known to all the People - that live in Helsinki ! There are also ones that Reposaari People do know !

I will keep other question for the next video but I have to answer to the one about Nightwish; I interviewed Tuomas and Kai almost 2 years ago at Knotfest, you can find the interview on my channel 😊, and told him something like "thank you for The music" if I remember well.

Tuo on kyllä oikeasti pöljä juttu Suomessa miten joka ruokaan halutaan laittaa kermaa!
En tiedä Suomesta, en ole käynyt siellä 55 vuoteeen, mutta kyllä kerma kastikkeen tekee.
Aina kermaa maidon sijasta ruuan laittoon. Osaan keitoistakin voi laittaa tilkkasen veden sijasta. Ruuasta tulee paksumpaa ja ravitsevampaa - ja ehdottomasti parempaa.
Ei nyt joka ruokaan, esim. en laita grillimakkaraan kermaa tai pizzaan.
"Mikä vi*** teitä porilaisia vaivaa?"
Vitsi, vitsi.
Siskoni valitsi hieman samanlaisen elämänuran, ja muutti Helsingistä Poriin.
