Not like he gave him $2k to go buy some toys. He gave him the money to go buy boxes to create some content for his channel. And the cards are an investment as well. Similar to buying him a grand of crypto or stocks.
College cards of Big time players and big time sets like NT, Immaculate, and Flawless are extremely undervalued and I think that could change one day. I collect great players, cool looking and rare autograph cards with nice patches. I could care less what uniform they are wearing on the cards. Some of those college patches are really sick.
I love this channel but sometimes him opening these expensive boxes is extremely obnoxious. Obviously he is wealthy but the average sport card collector can not associate with him. Then to top it off this youg kid rubs it in your face. Plus watch this kid handling the cards he grabs them by the corners ??????
