8:17 definitely a proud dad moment I love the videos with your son and the true relationship and bond you guys have through the card world. Keep it up!
One of the great things in the world, is seeing a father and son… Being a family, and enjoy Life ! .. Please remember the family’s in Texas and our Veterans this holiday!
I guess he is teaching him things, but also when you are born into a family that has millions of dollars to spend on cardboard i just don’t hold as much respect.
@@jackswearingen1831 I think it’s a great way to teach him about money, teach him to sell before spending, to follow markets and to be responsible with his money. Yes, he might have been born into money, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s being teached valuable lessons that most young kids don’t.
Man.... Dads are so important in a son's life it's not even a debate. Dads I know it isn't easy with life stresses but get involved with your boys. If it's your hobby or theirs. It is a game changer for the family as a whole.
I’ve gotten into collecting about three years ago and find it so much learning and ability to laterally apply what I learn into business that I really think everyone should teach there kids something along these lines
Geoff is a bit corny, but I couldn't help but smile watching him enjoy the show with his son. His son is learning how to communicate with people and negotiate a fair deal for all parties. Very valuable life lessons.
Really nice to see the chemistry the father and son have in collecting! They're into it. 2 years later those comps are down a lot though, I wonder if they are still holding onto them
Him explaining liquidity to his son should be showed to any parent who doesn’t believe in sports cards. It’s a means of learning so much about business that they otherwise wouldn’t at that age

Sports card Investor thanks for all the awesome card breaks and content. You inspired me to record my big box store card finds. Thanks for re igniting my passion for collecting. Started investing in grades card slabs myself.
Pretty good videos you got going but nothing better than seeing you and your son enjoying time together and sharing some of the same interests. You appear to be a great dad.
Doesn’t get better than the love between parent and child! Relationship reminded me of me and my dads when I was a kid. Those days long gone now, as not been on speaking terms with him for almost 15 years 😬😀 Ric Flair wooing in the background at the end while you were talking to the camera killed me 😄 Great video 👍
The kiddo did well. Geoff is correct, silver prisms and holos are liquid. He can probably resell those cards for $500+ in profit at the start of the season.
You need more videos with your son i love it! Im sure if both of u made more videos itll get alot of youg kids into the hobby! I hope one of my children get into the cardboard hobby! Something to do with them!!! Very great video!!! Awsome job little dude!!! And fantastic job being there for your boy!!
I feel like liquid cards are great for kids to get invested in, because they can be tracked more simply than a chunky patch or low numbered card. Good dad moment there Geoff helping your son get into a good sector of the card market for him to be in.
The prices of some of the cards are obscene , in a world where millions starve and people die from malnutrition on a daily basis .This trade is an obscenity in a world where people live and die on the streets .I would like to see how much money the sports card Investor donates to charity on a regular basis .
Congratulations 🎈🎊🍾🎉 on your cards. Those are some great pickups for that price. I paid $950 for a Holo Herbert PSA 10 last year. So you definitely got a steel of a deal.
Geoff i just got into the sports game and i have not been able to find any panniniprizim basketball cards in my local walmart and target i asked my dad if he couod do market movers but he said no.
@@frankcastle3971 how do you know the kid didn’t work for any of that (you don’t, you’re just making assumptions)? Also, take the negativity elsewhere. If you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all.
Awesome show. My dad believes it's all garbage. So cool you enjoy it with your kids. I have no kids but have 2 nephews who are collecting. Oldest has some nice stuff. The other can't keep them nice yet😅
Back in the day (1980's) if anyone of my friends had $5, people were so jealous. I tried selling my cards according to Beckett at a card show 1994 and sold $10 for a $20 table. Lost bank. UN-thank you.
you come across a kid that seems very shy/socially awkward and by the looks of it there by himself. Your son has to make him feel like he picked the wrong choice and go further with it by saying "no not thank you" instead of congratulating and even making a friend. Next is you fleecing the last guy for the 4 cards and then your kid again throwing money on the table and pushing It into the poor guy (that you didn't even let him shoutout his social media) I think you need to have a chat with your boy and make him aware of just how lucky he is to be able to spend money on whatever cards he wants, there's kid out here that are lucky to get a single pack at Walmart let alone a blaster box. Manners & respect are everything!

Good father and good son! This video shows what good moment cards bring to our lives.
Happy (early) Father’s Day to you Geoff. You’re setting an amazing example for your children. Congrats Reeves.
Thank you!
This is such a good video. A wholesome example of a dad and a son bonding over the great hobby of sports cards. Thank you Geoff.
they are parasites lol
He's a spoiled little shit stain on the tighty whities of society
It’s so wholesome to watch you & your son enjoy the hobby and with the hobby teach him life skills
I tend to disagree with Geoff more often than not, he is teaching his son life lessons in money that no school ever teaches our youth. Thumbs up. 👍
@Thomas Kalk how can u be mad at someone for providing their kid with a path to success that’s what every parent wants
