So at E0 Lingsha and E6 Gallagher are relatively the same in performance. They even both have unique niches, Lingsha excels in AOE/Shared HP bar scenarios (look at 2.6 showcases with the robot dino boss swarm thing she actually does GOOD dmg), and Gallagher’s extra turns makes him THE QPQ user which is pretty cracked. However this equality also means that Lingsha is NOT worth it for F2P’s as unless you’re E1 Lingsha shes only even with gallagher. Lingsha isnt even that much more comfortable as a sustain either cause she can get CC’d while E1 gallagher gives him enough Eff Res that with a few Eff Res substats makes him INVULNERABLE to CC
Not only that, he is extremely SP positive almost never needing to use his skill, and with his extra turn and fast charging ultimate, so he is perfect for SP hungry teams.
@mr.caelussy arent you apply the debuff instantly woth normal attack? the only problem with it probablly os not enough healing. timming wise its quick. also dlthe debuff is didnt really tied with EHR so no problem. my only problem with lingshia is how she perform agains multiple CC debuff enemies while gallager can obtain 100% CC ressist easy
@@Kindi001 gallagher's debuff that heal is from his ULTIMATE not basic attacks or enhanced basic attacks. the basic attacks only apply an ATK down debuff.
@mr.caelussyif you have his E4 then the debuff can have almost permanent uptime, it allows it to last for 3 turns, and by then Gallagher would have already recharged his ultimate or at least got most of it back (depending on what rope you're using and whether or not the enemy hits him)
The fact that E0 Lingsha equal to E6 Gallagher tell you a lot. Because he at E6 is one of the best unit in the game and Lingsha are on par with him make her really good.
I don't see it that way. Maybe I'm weird for this, but I think Lingsha should be far and away BETTER than her 4 star counterpart doing more or less the same thing. Instead they're kind of similar in value, strength, and general gameplan. Granted, yes still strong, beacuse superbreak is tough, but I don't know. Maybe they made Gallagher too strong?

but healing-wise isn't Lingsha better? gallagher healing kit works when we attack the enemy with Besotted while Fuyuan heal when our HP down to certain number or when its her turn and she can cleansed all allies

They either should’ve given her a different role or not made her at all imo, but I’m glad she didn’t powercreep Gallagher at least. This way people who want to keep using Gallagher can do so and ppl who don’t like him for some reason can pull an alternative. Also Gallagher is not “too strong”, some people actually like him and are very happy to be able to optimally use him.
I think no one mention her cleanse, which is one of if not the best in all sustain. Huohuo cleanse limit at 6, proc AFTER your teammates take a turn. Lingsha cleanse the whole team everytime fua triggers.
You are so true. It's funny how people only look at the break effect buff that she gives. I want to get Lingsha for her FUA, summon and cleansing abilities. She is Much more than a break support. Hopefully she works well with fei and future summon characters
If to be compared with Huohuo, their debuff cleanse ability is quite the same imo. Like Huohuo does a debuff cleanse for every teammate's turn, while Lingsha's fua triggers for roughly once every 3-4 teammate's turns. But that's also a plus point for her, she's basically a Gallagher ability+Huohuo's debuff cleanse. Because Gallagher himself wasn't really good at dealing with debuff cleanse, it could made him a really negative sp character (based on whatever could be happening in the fight)
I have no good sustains besides aventurine and Gallagher and with all the debuffs I can’t even clear cause I lose so many turns and skill points having to cleanse with Gallagher
This. Gallagher barely has cleanse at all, need use skill and only single target. While lingsha can cleanse often. But yea unless we got really annoying debuff that being used often by enemies, Gallagher mostly enough.

All FF needs is a limited fire harmony for mono fire break team since Tingyun kit got superbreak (leaked though). Would also been cool if there was a mono physical break team for Boothill.
Thank you, she'll be the personal healer of my Firefly if I win the 50/50 and I feel like she'll be just like Topaz a very good investment starting the next planet, she looks like the kind of characters who comes underestimated because people forget an important part of her kit (summon) and then around 3.2 she becomes one of the best sustain in the game because plenty of characters start to use this mechanic, add to that that she's a vidyaryan and everything is telling me to pull her

I wish Lingsha could reduce toughness of all types that would make her feel more like the definitive break sustain as right now being Gallagher "upgrade" but only for Firefly is not really sounding that great. The fact that a limited sustains main gimmick(breaking enemies in this case) is dependent on enemy elemental weakness is already a downgrade compared to HuoHuo or Aventurine which work for their whole playstyle( energy hungry teams and followup teams respectively). I really like her design and everything but they definitely did her dirty even the E1 value is diminished since 50% break efficiency means nothing without fire weak enemies or Firefly. Hoyo basically only making break supports and sustains for Firefly at this point and the dreams are showing we getting a fire element superbreak support as well I hope they have universal toughness dmg reduction because this is getting a bit ridiculous.

So let's break down some features from both of em Gallagher: -1 target on basic and skill, AoE on ult -advance forward turn after ult, and gives break debuff after ult -best unit at E6 cuz he'd have cleanse and 50% weakness break efficiency -healing based on BE stat -can heal sorta like Luocha after ult Lingsha: -heals more constant bcs of FuA, skill and ult -ult and skill advance forward bunny FuA -has downtime FuA that can be stack up to 5 times -has 10% bigger break debuff than E6 Gallagher -healing based on Atk stat -can cleanse AoE -has faster energy recharge with basic bcs of her trace Personal opinion: I think they're not equal but I'd say Gallagher is very close to Lingsha's level. People focuses more on sp spend they forgot about how much and how often both unit heal the team. In Lingsha case, she heals easy but the management of her bunny FuA would need more brain to do. In Gallagher case, I think his energy recharge is the often problem why my team dying a lot, cuz usually I want to use his ult immidiately so I'd use his skill just to recharge faster. And if you think about it, Lingsha doesn't necessarily need to spam her skill. Cuz most time you don't need to heal unless the team is in danger. Her FuA and fast ult recharge also cover up the healing, so you don't need to use her skill that often. The only reason you wanna spam her skill is either to deal more dmg with SB or you wanna break the enemy faster, but you really don't need to cuz she has FuA and Ult. So I'd say you can still use her just like Gallagher Conclusion: don't need to get Lingsha IF and ONLY IF you have E5 or E6 Gallagher, but I'd recommend getting Lingsha for more sustain and especially her E1 cuz it's so good for SB team Edit: forgot the best pros of the characters. So for Gallagher, I think his E2 is best as a sustain bcs Gallagher without cleanse is absolute hell for the team and he's a really good f2p choice considering he gives debuff which makes him flexible. Lingsha is really good at being massive healer even at E0S0, but for her to fully support the SB team she needs at least E1
Gallagher at E2 is fine, it's not really a "don't pull Lingsha ONLY IF" situation. I don't know about others but Gallagher have always been comfortable to use at low eidonolon. Never had a problem with dying.
Idc y no one's acknowledging the fact that Lingsha's FoA can literally clear CC, so it doesn't matter if she gets CC'd herself cause she can just clear it for free for unlimited times, While Gallagher don't. I badly need that unli CC clearer, and this demo has once again failed to show how her FoA can clear all CC in the team in one go.
call me biased or anything but i really do not remember any time where i got cc'd and it mattered enough for the past like 6 months, atleast in most of the content of this game except stuff like gold and gears, there just isnt enough annoying debuffs in the game right now where you need to care about it too much.

Plenty of sustains have CC prevention / cleanse, a bunch of them can also do it while they're CC'd themselves. It's not a big deal. If you're looking for a healer who can clear debuffs, just go for Huohuo. SP neutral, energy regen and damage buff. Works with most teams pretty well.
Houhou literally does it better though and is stronger on every team that isn't Firefly SB, Lingsha gets AoE cleanse but you have to wait on the FuA. Your entire team could be CC'd with Fuyuan chilling right behind everyone so by the time Fuyuan does cleanse... big whoop your turn is already over. That being said, getting CC'd using FF SB with Ruan Mei... shouldn't really ever be happening, the enemy should be broken and delayed by Ruan Mei to the point that you're never in any real danger. She's a sidegrade to Gallagher, not an upgrade. If anything this just lets Gallagher go help other teams out since he's so OP he works with all the current best dps.

I'm convinced that Lingsha is made for low spenders who can get the E1 of each limited break character. Thus, she is worth it only if you are aiming at her E1. That being said, in single target fights both gallagher and lingsha seem to be almost identical at e0 and at e6 respectively, with gallagher having the advantage of being sp positive. He can also make a better use of QPQ, something that shouldn't be understimated. As for AOE scenarios, like this patch's Apocalyptic Shadow, I'm guessing that Lingsha E0 will be much more useful.

Lingsha is best sustain for Rappa because rappa has a thing where she buffs break dmg.And with how often lingsha can deal big dmg compared to galagher,lingsha would be much better

Lingsha's continous Tougness reduction and damage to enemies, easily activates super break. Also provides team wide healing and debuff cleanse. Best suitable for firefly team with her increased break effect from ulti, but still good for an all around sustain.

I tried Lingsha during the story and in the Wardance event. I didn’t notice any improvement of her vs Gallagher. But the only main downside for me was she was good at stealing break from FF.

Honestly she seems like she's only worth if you already have e1 Firefly so Lingsha can skill spam a little more to push up her summon.. which ironically completely nulls the point of her summon having healing since Lingsha will be healing every time she skills. More than likely, it feels like they really locked her behind e1 because with Ruan Mei + e1 she has double the toughness break while being pure aoe, which is a pretty big deal. Her A6 trace also looks to be built around Firefly using skill and going below 60%, so Fuyuan comes in with the instant FuA to heal her up... even though when FF uses her skill she can immediately go into ult and skill again to heal herself back up. They also made her a FuA character, who cannot really take any sort of advantage of being run on a FuA team outside of getting maybe 1 or 2 Robin ult procs? She also has bad modifiers so a crit build is kinda bad too, even though she's an Atk scaling healer. Yeah the more I look at her kit the more I think "it makes sense but it actually doesn't"
Her skill is aoe, so she's way better than Gallagher in PF or against 5 enemies Edit: after reading most of the comments, i feel that a robin scenario is coming again, dont underestimate hoyo's marketing ways, and to those skipping lingsha, i warn you about the incoming PF, MOC and even AS, yeah don't say i didn't warn you, Gallagher wont be your friend for long, (unless you have super meta units i suppose), so many of you are comapring them with pure break efficiency and not with true utility
If your problem is AoE Break, get Rappa. Lingsha won't be missed in the Break teams, unless you want to use two Break teams. But in that case, it will also be better if you save for Tingyun. Lingsha is just premium. In AS, my Gallagher already does a great job, and even in the next one (Sunday), I don't see myself struggling without Lingsha. PF? As I said: Rappa. If you don't want Rappa, FF+Himeko without sustain will do the job.

Yeah, Linngsha has a better healing, and she breaks all the enemies with fire weakness at once, wihtout depending on her ultimate for that like Gallagher. She has more frequent attacks thanks to her rabbits, and will deal more damage to broken enemies with the HMC. Also, it's pretty difficult to get E6 4*. At E1 she is so much better, though

XD bad comparison TBH, Topaz is a core character now for FART team... u can argue that she is LC dependant and that´s true, but also is cheaper to get her LC than her e1 .. but vs Moze and march 7.. Topaz + Feixiao is a superior duo 100% and i can speak from my own experience with Feixiao s0- topaz s1- robin s1- aventurine e1...

Despite E6 Gallagher works as E0 Lingsha, I really think E0 Lingsha is the go to when you’re aiming for perfect stars Apocalyptic Shadow (FF team) If u only care for MoC, then Lingsha is skippable when u have E6 Gallagher This is hard 😔
Lingsha isn’t even a side grade for Gallagher for me. Her aoe cleanse isn’t that important since firefly teams normally don’t have the enemy acting that much, and Gallagher can still use ult to action foward + skill cleanse IF needed. He’s literally immune to CC and he’s incredibly SP positive, whereas lingsha is squishy and imo she doesn’t even heal that much for a 5 star
Aventurine is rumoured in 2.6. Lingsha is nothing special, imo, she's just a less universal Gallagher. Mid heals, eats SP (And is SP neutral at best) and provides genuinely NO utility outside of break teams. Gallagher however is SP positive, is a good debuffer for Acheron and works well on counter units...she's a complete waste of pulls tbh, I'd say save for Aven next patch

If you have Robin, it’s a different story. Gallagher becomes an extremely good sustain with Quid because he can charge Robin’s ult even outside of FUA teams. Lingsha cant do that to my knowledge. But her cleanse is very nice.

Needing to make sure only Robin is below 50% energy so the other 2 members have to hold their Ult before Gallagher's turn to proc QPQ, otherwise you're at the mercy of RNG and you need to hit it at least twice during Robin's Ult duration 2. Feixiao or Acheron isn't in the team, since they can always be targeted by QPQ and waste the energy effect If you just bring it and expect it to work without optimizing it, you're in for a bad time
I see some talk about summons meta but, what does Lingsha bring to the summon meta herself? Pretty much nothing unless they want to go down break summon meta and people are already tired from break, we all already know shielding is just better than healing in this game she’s already at a disadvantage for now atleast, wouldn’t be surprised for a preservation summon just throws her to the side for that meta.
I hope people understand that Lingsha isn't even a sidegrade as she stands. Being SP neutral for FF is not viable unless you have E1 FF and even then I would probably prefer Ghal. E6 Ghal is a disgustingly strong character. Lingsha will likely have value at some point, maybe with Rappa? But right now she is an easy skip.
If I were to get Lingsha, I would use her as a pseudo-erudition hypercarry for the lols instead of putting her in break team even if FF is E1. Picking Gallagher simply because he's hotter than another xianzhou uniform lady copy-paste.

Outside of break, I would say galla since he can hold qpq, which is much better than pure sustain (since if you really were dying so much, you would use a shielder since hsr is moving to one shot meta)
been using him over gepard and fuxuan in moc 12 for god knows how long now and he has encountered no issues sustaining the whole team so far. The gap between him and the other 4 star sustainers is criminally huge and I think this says a lot.
I plan to pull her to prepare for the upcoming summon meta, also so that I can finally put qpq Gallagher on my Robin team... Also also, she's pretty so yeah it was rigged from the start
Too many variables, people act like their situation means EVERYONE has an E6 Gally, or didn’t just start, or has Gally at all……. If they are equal what’s the tru cost of Gal E6 (Not the omg look how lucky my pull cost) especially if he is off rate up banner? Also over time let’s say a year and then two years which will hold more value, which has more upside? Who would last the longest? (all unknowns) but they all cost the same ticket when pulling on rate up banner since we really should compare what is the cost to get one today as well as the value for those who already have Gally E6.
I feel like the big difference is that Gallagher is kinda locked into Feixiao/Acheron and Superbreak, meanwhile Lingsha is really good in superbreak, but can be put everywhere. Not saying Gallagher is bad elsewhere, but Lingsha seems to be a better all around unit, while Gallagher still being a VERY good choice. Correct me if I am wrong though!
I feel it's the other way around. Gallagher has QPQ and massive skill point generation. Lingsha is okayish outside of FF teams, even in BH teams she doesn't shine that much. She's just like another Luocha there
My FF is E1+ and RM has her signature LC, I already have too much SP that Gallagher is just there to aid breaking. Lingsha seems perfect for me as she overall has higher breaking power even at E0 especially for aoe. Plus my team would then be complete as I can take out stinky male units from both my teams on MoC AS and PF

@@_JoeVerthere is actually only one non-break team that Lingsha could work on which is the FUA team which she has synergies because of her bunnies and they can synergize that fine with Topaz.Lingsha’s bunnies are considered a FUA like Jing Yuan’s LL and Numby. Although she doesn’t perform in the same level as Aventurine plus his banner might come back in the next patch or after the next patch. Heck even Gallagher can be placed in more non-break teams than her like the Acheron team or FUA team (His ult and enhanced basic ATK help Ratio’s FUA). he can even help well with Imbibitor Lunae than having Imbibitor Lunae with Luocha given Gallagher’s Extremely sp economy, giving IL more SP for more damage.

He was getting skill points back when harmony mc ulta so i assumed it's her light cone but it turned out to be ruan Mei's LC (which gives skill points as well so it doesn't change much)
Yeah, E6 (or even just E2) Gallagher is a lot more flexible, free 50% effect resistance (which means 100% is quite easy), very sp positive, can use qpq which helps if you put him with Robin, and most importantly he looks cool as fuck

@@sorashizen5130 I didn't pull Lingsha because I thought about her teams, I just like her and she seems decent to me. I've been playing since day one, I mean, I have a variety of characters. That now I only pull for characters that I like. And literally any character they take out will be very useful in my account. I'm not a whale, but I am a lucky guy, although few characters have their lightcones, but endgames are easy for me now.

Easy enemies? They’re in MoC with average 2mil hp for each wave or boss. This is probably the hardest it’ll get unless they somehow double the hp. Another thing is that heals and cleanse are less important in break teams. Gallagher’s ability to activate QDP and generate a ton of skill points is just inherently more valuable in a Firefly team. Break teams focus heavily on delaying enemies anyway so taking dmg is really not an issue.

So at E0 Lingsha and E6 Gallagher are relatively the same in performance. They even both have unique niches, Lingsha excels in AOE/Shared HP bar scenarios (look at 2.6 showcases with the robot dino boss swarm thing she actually does GOOD dmg), and Gallagher’s extra turns makes him THE QPQ user which is pretty cracked. However this equality also means that Lingsha is NOT worth it for F2P’s as unless you’re E1 Lingsha shes only even with gallagher. Lingsha isnt even that much more comfortable as a sustain either cause she can get CC’d while E1 gallagher gives him enough Eff Res that with a few Eff Res substats makes him INVULNERABLE to CC
Not only that, he is extremely SP positive almost never needing to use his skill, and with his extra turn and fast charging ultimate, so he is perfect for SP hungry teams.

@mr.caelussy arent you apply the debuff instantly woth normal attack? the only problem with it probablly os not enough healing. timming wise its quick. also dlthe debuff is didnt really tied with EHR so no problem. my only problem with lingshia is how she perform agains multiple CC debuff enemies while gallager can obtain 100% CC ressist easy
@@Kindi001 gallagher's debuff that heal is from his ULTIMATE not basic attacks or enhanced basic attacks. the basic attacks only apply an ATK down debuff.
@mr.caelussyif you have his E4 then the debuff can have almost permanent uptime, it allows it to last for 3 turns, and by then Gallagher would have already recharged his ultimate or at least got most of it back (depending on what rope you're using and whether or not the enemy hits him)
The fact that E0 Lingsha equal to E6 Gallagher tell you a lot. Because he at E6 is one of the best unit in the game and Lingsha are on par with him make her really good.
I don't see it that way. Maybe I'm weird for this, but I think Lingsha should be far and away BETTER than her 4 star counterpart doing more or less the same thing.
Instead they're kind of similar in value, strength, and general gameplan. Granted, yes still strong, beacuse superbreak is tough, but I don't know. Maybe they made Gallagher too strong?

I think no one mention her cleanse, which is one of if not the best in all sustain. Huohuo cleanse limit at 6, proc AFTER your teammates take a turn. Lingsha cleanse the whole team everytime fua triggers.
You are so true. It's funny how people only look at the break effect buff that she gives. I want to get Lingsha for her FUA, summon and cleansing abilities. She is Much more than a break support. Hopefully she works well with fei and future summon characters
If to be compared with Huohuo, their debuff cleanse ability is quite the same imo. Like Huohuo does a debuff cleanse for every teammate's turn, while Lingsha's fua triggers for roughly once every 3-4 teammate's turns.
But that's also a plus point for her, she's basically a Gallagher ability+Huohuo's debuff cleanse. Because Gallagher himself wasn't really good at dealing with debuff cleanse, it could made him a really negative sp character (based on whatever could be happening in the fight)
I have no good sustains besides aventurine and Gallagher and with all the debuffs I can’t even clear cause I lose so many turns and skill points having to cleanse with Gallagher

I wish Lingsha could reduce toughness of all types that would make her feel more like the definitive break sustain as right now being Gallagher "upgrade" but only for Firefly is not really sounding that great. The fact that a limited sustains main gimmick(breaking enemies in this case) is dependent on enemy elemental weakness is already a downgrade compared to HuoHuo or Aventurine which work for their whole playstyle( energy hungry teams and followup teams respectively).
I really like her design and everything but they definitely did her dirty even the E1 value is diminished since 50% break efficiency means nothing without fire weak enemies or Firefly. Hoyo basically only making break supports and sustains for Firefly at this point and the dreams are showing we getting a fire element superbreak support as well I hope they have universal toughness dmg reduction because this is getting a bit ridiculous.
To be fair I see Lingsha less as a break unit and more for the future summon meta.

@mr.caelussythey are currently but 3.0ish summons can count as independent units on the field targetable and all kinda like the trashcan event from last patch that felt like a test for the play style. I see her being crazy when they make a support for summons and break shes just way ahead of her time
So let's break down some features from both of em
Gallagher:
-1 target on basic and skill, AoE on ult
-advance forward turn after ult, and gives break debuff after ult
-best unit at E6 cuz he'd have cleanse and 50% weakness break efficiency
-healing based on BE stat
-can heal sorta like Luocha after ult
Lingsha:
-heals more constant bcs of FuA, skill and ult
-ult and skill advance forward bunny FuA
-has downtime FuA that can be stack up to 5 times
-has 10% bigger break debuff than E6 Gallagher
-healing based on Atk stat
-can cleanse AoE
-has faster energy recharge with basic bcs of her trace
Personal opinion: I think they're not equal but I'd say Gallagher is very close to Lingsha's level. People focuses more on sp spend they forgot about how much and how often both unit heal the team. In Lingsha case, she heals easy but the management of her bunny FuA would need more brain to do. In Gallagher case, I think his energy recharge is the often problem why my team dying a lot, cuz usually I want to use his ult immidiately so I'd use his skill just to recharge faster.
And if you think about it, Lingsha doesn't necessarily need to spam her skill. Cuz most time you don't need to heal unless the team is in danger. Her FuA and fast ult recharge also cover up the healing, so you don't need to use her skill that often. The only reason you wanna spam her skill is either to deal more dmg with SB or you wanna break the enemy faster, but you really don't need to cuz she has FuA and Ult. So I'd say you can still use her just like Gallagher
Conclusion: don't need to get Lingsha IF and ONLY IF you have E5 or E6 Gallagher, but I'd recommend getting Lingsha for more sustain and especially her E1 cuz it's so good for SB team
Edit: forgot the best pros of the characters. So for Gallagher, I think his E2 is best as a sustain bcs Gallagher without cleanse is absolute hell for the team and he's a really good f2p choice considering he gives debuff which makes him flexible. Lingsha is really good at being massive healer even at E0S0, but for her to fully support the SB team she needs at least E1
I ain't even pulling for her with my E2 Gallagher. QPQ is just too comfortable
Gallagher at E2 is fine, it's not really a "don't pull Lingsha ONLY IF" situation. I don't know about others but Gallagher have always been comfortable to use at low eidonolon. Never had a problem with dying.
She's superior in almost every way, only blind people think she's a sidegrade to Gallagher...
Idc y no one's acknowledging the fact that Lingsha's FoA can literally clear CC, so it doesn't matter if she gets CC'd herself cause she can just clear it for free for unlimited times, While Gallagher don't. I badly need that unli CC clearer, and this demo has once again failed to show how her FoA can clear all CC in the team in one go.
call me biased or anything but i really do not remember any time where i got cc'd and it mattered enough for the past like 6 months, atleast in most of the content of this game except stuff like gold and gears, there just isnt enough annoying debuffs in the game right now where you need to care about it too much.
friendly reminder that talent+E1 give gallagher nearly infinite cc res, with a little bit from sub stats? he is COMPLETELY IMMUNE to cc. If anything, he is an insanely upgrade to lingsha if you are talking cc
Plenty of sustains have CC prevention / cleanse, a bunch of them can also do it while they're CC'd themselves. It's not a big deal. If you're looking for a healer who can clear debuffs, just go for Huohuo. SP neutral, energy regen and damage buff. Works with most teams pretty well.
Houhou literally does it better though and is stronger on every team that isn't Firefly SB, Lingsha gets AoE cleanse but you have to wait on the FuA. Your entire team could be CC'd with Fuyuan chilling right behind everyone so by the time Fuyuan does cleanse... big whoop your turn is already over.
That being said, getting CC'd using FF SB with Ruan Mei... shouldn't really ever be happening, the enemy should be broken and delayed by Ruan Mei to the point that you're never in any real danger.
She's a sidegrade to Gallagher, not an upgrade. If anything this just lets Gallagher go help other teams out since he's so OP he works with all the current best dps.

I'm convinced that Lingsha is made for low spenders who can get the E1 of each limited break character. Thus, she is worth it only if you are aiming at her E1.
That being said, in single target fights both gallagher and lingsha seem to be almost identical at e0 and at e6 respectively, with gallagher having the advantage of being sp positive. He can also make a better use of QPQ, something that shouldn't be understimated. As for AOE scenarios, like this patch's Apocalyptic Shadow, I'm guessing that Lingsha E0 will be much more useful.

Lingsha is best sustain for Rappa because rappa has a thing where she buffs break dmg.And with how often lingsha can deal big dmg compared to galagher,lingsha would be much better

Lingsha's continous Tougness reduction and damage to enemies, easily activates super break. Also provides team wide healing and debuff cleanse. Best suitable for firefly team with her increased break effect from ulti, but still good for an all around sustain.
If only Lingsha had a Colorless Toughness Break in her kit, to solidify her role for both Regular Crit teams and Super break.

I tried Lingsha during the story and in the Wardance event. I didn’t notice any improvement of her vs Gallagher. But the only main downside for me was she was good at stealing break from FF.

Honestly she seems like she's only worth if you already have e1 Firefly so Lingsha can skill spam a little more to push up her summon.. which ironically completely nulls the point of her summon having healing since Lingsha will be healing every time she skills.
More than likely, it feels like they really locked her behind e1 because with Ruan Mei + e1 she has double the toughness break while being pure aoe, which is a pretty big deal.
Her A6 trace also looks to be built around Firefly using skill and going below 60%, so Fuyuan comes in with the instant FuA to heal her up... even though when FF uses her skill she can immediately go into ult and skill again to heal herself back up.
They also made her a FuA character, who cannot really take any sort of advantage of being run on a FuA team outside of getting maybe 1 or 2 Robin ult procs? She also has bad modifiers so a crit build is kinda bad too, even though she's an Atk scaling healer.

Edit: after reading most of the comments, i feel that a robin scenario is coming again, dont underestimate hoyo's marketing ways, and to those skipping lingsha, i warn you about the incoming PF, MOC and even AS, yeah don't say i didn't warn you, Gallagher wont be your friend for long, (unless you have super meta units i suppose), so many of you are comapring them with pure break efficiency and not with true utility
If your problem is AoE Break, get Rappa. Lingsha won't be missed in the Break teams, unless you want to use two Break teams. But in that case, it will also be better if you save for Tingyun. Lingsha is just premium.
In AS, my Gallagher already does a great job, and even in the next one (Sunday), I don't see myself struggling without Lingsha. PF? As I said: Rappa. If you don't want Rappa, FF+Himeko without sustain will do the job.

Yeah, Linngsha has a better healing, and she breaks all the enemies with fire weakness at once, wihtout depending on her ultimate for that like Gallagher. She has more frequent attacks thanks to her rabbits, and will deal more damage to broken enemies with the HMC. Also, it's pretty difficult to get E6 4*.
At E1 she is so much better, though

Her aoe cleanse isn’t that important since firefly teams normally don’t have the enemy acting that much, and Gallagher can still use ult to action foward + skill cleanse IF needed. He’s literally immune to CC and he’s incredibly SP positive, whereas lingsha is squishy and imo she doesn’t even heal that much for a 5 star
I think I have like E3 gallagher. Still pulling lingsha (unless aventurine is in the next patch) because I have NO 5 star sustains aside from gepard.
Aventurine is rumoured in 2.6. Lingsha is nothing special, imo, she's just a less universal Gallagher. Mid heals, eats SP (And is SP neutral at best) and provides genuinely NO utility outside of break teams.
Gallagher however is SP positive, is a good debuffer for Acheron and works well on counter units...she's a complete waste of pulls tbh, I'd say save for Aven next patch

It would make difference if you don't have Ruan mei 😂. Also Gallagher sustain outside of break is mid. But lingsha is universal.
If you have Robin, it’s a different story. Gallagher becomes an extremely good sustain with Quid because he can charge Robin’s ult even outside of FUA teams. Lingsha cant do that to my knowledge. But her cleanse is very nice.

1. Needing to make sure only Robin is below 50% energy so the other 2 members have to hold their Ult before Gallagher's turn to proc QPQ, otherwise you're at the mercy of RNG and you need to hit it at least twice during Robin's Ult duration
2. Feixiao or Acheron isn't in the team, since they can always be targeted by QPQ and waste the energy effect
If you just bring it and expect it to work without optimizing it, you're in for a bad time
I see some talk about summons meta but, what does Lingsha bring to the summon meta herself? Pretty much nothing unless they want to go down break summon meta and people are already tired from break, we all already know shielding is just better than healing in this game she’s already at a disadvantage for now atleast, wouldn’t be surprised for a preservation summon just throws her to the side for that meta.

I hope people understand that Lingsha isn't even a sidegrade as she stands. Being SP neutral for FF is not viable unless you have E1 FF and even then I would probably prefer Ghal.
E6 Ghal is a disgustingly strong character. Lingsha will likely have value at some point, maybe with Rappa? But right now she is an easy skip.
If I were to get Lingsha, I would use her as a pseudo-erudition hypercarry for the lols instead of putting her in break team even if FF is E1. Picking Gallagher simply because he's hotter than another xianzhou uniform lady copy-paste.

It could be but both are quite useful for breaking teams, as they help lower the enemy's bar quickly later.

Outside of break, I would say galla since he can hold qpq, which is much better than pure sustain (since if you really were dying so much, you would use a shielder since hsr is moving to one shot meta)

been using him over gepard and fuxuan in moc 12 for god knows how long now and he has encountered no issues sustaining the whole team so far. The gap between him and the other 4 star sustainers is criminally huge and I think this says a lot.

Too many variables, people act like their situation means EVERYONE has an E6 Gally, or didn’t just start, or has Gally at all……. If they are equal what’s the tru cost of Gal E6 (Not the omg look how lucky my pull cost) especially if he is off rate up banner? Also over time let’s say a year and then two years which will hold more value, which has more upside? Who would last the longest? (all unknowns) but they all cost the same ticket when pulling on rate up banner since we really should compare what is the cost to get one today as well as the value for those who already have Gally E6.

I feel like the big difference is that Gallagher is kinda locked into Feixiao/Acheron and Superbreak, meanwhile Lingsha is really good in superbreak, but can be put everywhere. Not saying Gallagher is bad elsewhere, but Lingsha seems to be a better all around unit, while Gallagher still being a VERY good choice. Correct me if I am wrong though!

My FF is E1+ and RM has her signature LC, I already have too much SP that Gallagher is just there to aid breaking. Lingsha seems perfect for me as she overall has higher breaking power even at E0 especially for aoe.
Plus my team would then be complete as I can take out stinky male units from both my teams on MoC AS and PF

Although she doesn’t perform in the same level as Aventurine plus his banner might come back in the next patch or after the next patch.
Heck even Gallagher can be placed in more non-break teams than her like the Acheron team or FUA team (His ult and enhanced basic ATK help Ratio’s FUA). he can even help well with Imbibitor Lunae than having Imbibitor Lunae with Luocha given Gallagher’s Extremely sp economy, giving IL more SP for more damage.
My Gallagher is e0 so I'll probably have to go for lingsha. She's also cute so clearly the better option lol

Yeah, E6 (or even just E2) Gallagher is a lot more flexible, free 50% effect resistance (which means 100% is quite easy), very sp positive, can use qpq which helps if you put him with Robin, and most importantly he looks cool as fuck

@@sorashizen5130 I didn't pull Lingsha because I thought about her teams, I just like her and she seems decent to me. I've been playing since day one, I mean, I have a variety of characters. That now I only pull for characters that I like. And literally any character they take out will be very useful in my account. I'm not a whale, but I am a lucky guy, although few characters have their lightcones, but endgames are easy for me now.
they peform the same againt easy enemies, but i think if we have a fight where the enemy has some more aoe cc, her aoe cleanse could come in handy, so i think i can completely skip her and get aventurine
Easy enemies? They’re in MoC with average 2mil hp for each wave or boss. This is probably the hardest it’ll get unless they somehow double the hp.
Another thing is that heals and cleanse are less important in break teams. Gallagher’s ability to activate QDP and generate a ton of skill points is just inherently more valuable in a Firefly team. Break teams focus heavily on delaying enemies anyway so taking dmg is really not an issue.
@@seraphywang4638 I mean it could get a lot worse. Right now we don't have that many cc effects, just dominate which is one character once and the aventurine coin thing. Imagine if we have an enemy that ccs the entire team on a spammable attack.
