Nice little kit. That one part, SFU455, is actually a 455kHz ceramic filter. And, from experience, yes, it won't work if you don't get all those darn jumpers connected! 😋

Well, it made noise, but that was about it. I knew about the jumpers, but just wanted to see if it made noise and it did, even with the volume control in wrong. LOL Thanks Bob. :)

Thanks Tim. It is a far cry from other Chinese radio kits, but unless I misread some stuff, they could be more clear on some things in that huge fold out manual. :)

Thanks Leo. I think there may be a bias adjustment, which is why those circuit breaks are there, Still have not completely read the manual. LOL I hate reading. :(

Hi Doug, I trust that you have enjoyed this biuld process as much as I have, so far you have a done a great job. You are correct when you said the traces are very close together, that is one problem I had. I will send you a number of pictures of my project. Oscillator coil will never be on ferrite rod, otherwise your radio becomes low power transmitter.
