I wouldn't say that. Although he contributed more so than Ringo in the phenomenal songwriting composing of The Beatles best songs like Here There And Everywhere. I really believe if the Beatles never used George Martin they would still of been the worlds greatest Group of all time such was their genius abilities to compose beautiful melodies at a staggering rate once they got into their stride. Still today noone have come close to The Beatles:)

It's funny you'd mention her having to be reigned in. In her French career, she worked a lot with a popular writer who always had to reign her in quite a bit. Her French music is a lot more reserved when compared to the English stuff that she's known for belting out lol
