As soon as I saw the news anchor was Wendy Bell (who has long since been fired from WTAE news) I was shocked that I never heard more about this. Pittsburgh is the home of Heinz Ketchup so I suppose a novelty hot dog thing isn't too much of a surprise!
This commercial traumatized me as a kid because I thought those ketchup and mustard things were disgusting I couldn't use mustard for a while because I kept imagining that thing snotting all over my food
