I grew up and came of age in the 50's, 60's, 70's. Ah, the 'gold' of living in that era, highlighted in great songs like this. I feel so blessed, like so many others who experienced life then. Yes, there were crazy times, like always, but my heart stayed 'light', due so much to the great music of the times. Kids today just don't know what they missed. 'Be young, be foolish........'
Times before 'they' started to divide us, better times when we all mixed in soul clubs for the love of the music and feeling like we belonged together, and we danced all night!
@@shirleygray4569 A whole different world back then when older teens looked out for the under 10's ( without using them to carry drugs or knives, youth clubs were every where and the weekly disco set your heart ablaze, mainly to see the girl/boy you fancied and to hear the music you liked both new and old.
