From WikiPedia: Giovanni Girolamo Kapsperger (also: or ; c. 1580 - 17 January 1651) was an Austrian-Italian virtuoso performer and composer of the early Baroque period. A prolific and highly original composer, Kapsberger is chiefly remembered today for his lute and theorbo () music, which was seminal in the development of these as solo instruments.

I live in Rome and I love this city. When I listen to this music it seems to have been created for Rome by intercession of the Holy Spirit who ist very present in Eternal City. This recording and this presentation here are a "Gesamtkunstwerk". The pictures are deeply seen by the heart. Thanks a lot for having insert this here!

As many others have said in their Comments, this kind of music gives us a temporary respite from what is oftentimes the dreariness and drudgery that are an inescapaable part of being a Human Being tethered to this mundane world in what The Bard referred to as our "mortal coil." Thank you, sir.
