Interessanti le composizioni per liuto ,strumento dal suono dolce e delicato ,un toccasana anche per la mente ,non aggredisce e ci si rilassa oltre che ascoltare opere dei grandi compositori per questo meraviglioso strumento .

Many years ago, while visiting Rome, I bought 'Amadeus', an Italian music magazine, which offered a free CD. The magazine's issue had Francesco Romano's recording of Sylvius Weiss lute music on the CD. I had never heard of Weiss but immediately became hooked. I have since built up a large collection of Weiss recordings, and owe Sig. Romano a huge debt of gratitude for having introduced me to the wonderful world of Weiss' lute music. Grazie mille, Francesco!

I live in Rome and I love this city. When I listen to this music it seems to have been created for Rome by intercession of the Holy Spirit who ist very present in Eternal City.
