Hey Quentin, I appreciate you and I’m thankful that you’ve taken the time to share your input it really means a lot. I hope to continue to put out Contant. Blessings to you brother
Malo beats, first off i just want to say since watching your videos you have made a huge impact on inspiring me to make beats. I've always been into hiphop and thanks to your teachings i have bought myself an MPC ONE and man i am loving every minute of it. So thanks man and keep up the amazing work.
Aaron, you have no idea how much this means to me. My whole purpose when I started this channel was to be able to inspire some one else in to developing there creative ideas and reading your message brings so much joy. Thank you so much for taking your time and sharing this with me. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Blessings to all that you do brotha 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@malobeats One of the beats i made is on my channel, it would be dope as hell to know what you think of it, still struggling with the bass from time to time 😅
Almost 5k my brother! Thank you for this video!! I'm having some trouble finding some inspiration on top of my natural difficulty to break out of loops. Keep it up!!
Yes I know what you mean there’s times where I get stuck in my sequence and don’t have direction on where to take it afterwards but this workflow that I show in this video has been game changer for me and it’s also been very fun being able to manipulate certain sections of my song by focusing using the looper in the sequencer.
Since I only use the MPC one i do a 8 bar Loop copy it four times and I make a intro a small buildup to the verse hook and then and outro Just until I get the hang of Ableton cuz I love the the sequencer on MPC beats and MPC one one
That’s an awesome workflow I do my work number I just like looping my track a few bars and adding my variations in certain sections and let it go with the flow similar to your workflow. And yes I really enjoy the MPC workflow 🔥🔥
@@abelchristian951 yea Most of the time I start with 2 bars and when I feel comfortable with what I have with drums or my sample then I will go ahead and duplicated and start to elaborate and do few changes here and there but that’s been my favorite way of working.
Hey Conor thank you so much for the support and taking the time to share this with me. I am actually still getting quite familiar with the mpc software myself but I will touch up on it on a video. Thank you so much for this request. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Me too I’m actually looking into getting a stand but in this video I just have a battery for one of my lights that I’m sitting at up on but I do not recommend it lol
Yes sir. which adds a little bit of air on the top and making it pop out a bit more. I go strictly based off of what I hear when I adjust the parameters and if it feels right to me I stick with it and that frequency felt right. Thank you for taking the time and dropping by in the common section brother 🙏🏽
Now Malo,my question is : let's say you're making a full beat. You have that 8 bar loop (that you worked on),then play it x 2 and you have your 1st vrs. How would go build a chorus for that? Start from the intro or something?
There’s a few options you can go with. 1st you can copy the sequence and paste it on a separate sequence and you can do some minor changes on that separate sequence to give some variation. 2nd you could also just duplicate a few more bars within the same sequence and just loop a small section and work on that section to add some variation to make it into a chorus.
@@malobeats thanks! What I sometimes do is start with the same chop then vary it a little. The problem is that sometimes my verse uses the best chops available,so there aren't any left for the chorus :D For these situations, I ty to start with a keygroup on top of verse on the intro, that comes back on the chorus. But yeah, most of the times they stay as loops.
What I like about your tutoring videos, is that I learn something about the MPC One every time I view them. Thanks again, yo. Peace

its always the small content creators who are the ones teaching me soo much stuff- keep going dude. love the way your're trying to explain stuff.
