Now that Studebaker is just what I love in a truck....simple and utilitarian! Perfect example of what is wrong with current manufactures... all glitz but no simplicity.
Back in NYC about 20 years ago there were a pair of Mini Cooper pickup "trucks" that were used to promote Red Bull. I thought they were very practical.
I see those Red Bull Minis frequently in Cali. I’ve even seen them pop up for sale on Craigslist and Marketplace. If I had space for an extra vehicle, I wouldn’t mind owning one.
1) The Baker. That is where it would have ended up as a fleet truck for Companies. And no, it would have not saved them either. 2) The Jimmy Transcent. One. Not in that color. A bench seat is preferred most of the time. 3) Isuzu Como. They went too far away from what people wanted in a truck. It was however, Rear-Wheel-Drive. Maybe if it had been a car concept. 4) Citron Whatever. At least this is better than the Honda Ridgeline as it is actually a Rear-Wheel-Drive vehicle. It only has an inline Four, but so does the Toyota RAV4. Maybe if it had looked better. (I would definitely take it over the Honda.) 5) The only thing wrong with this big truck is that Americans don't equate power of any kind with a six-cylider engine. (I know what it is capable of, but most don't take time to use their brains to think, and that was the time this started. Dodge should have proved what the truck could do visually. Then this would have worked.) Signed-Richard.
that stufrbaker cabover is what i wish somebody like nissan would make today. a CCLB full sized cab over truck with a 155" theelbase instead of a 172. Doesn't sound like much difference but one is very easy to back into tight parking spaces and the other is a PITA.
I wish the Chevy truck came out in production.I would have been a buyer one of them. And it would've been nice if it was a extended cab that would have really been sharp
The Studebaker was just an Big American version of the VW Type 2 2 door pock up. At the same time Jeep was selling it's iron block 4, in a COE Jeepsters
That GMC Transcend looks like what the El Camino could or should have evolved into in North America. A car-truck hermaphrodite, only this one a truck with car attributes instead of the other way around. A more car-like truck. Instead we got weak crossovers.
The Problem is Passion of driving ENDING TO BIG VEHICLES.. Unfortunately there's Social Resistance to follow up.. HENCE CONVERSION OF CARS INTO SUV s MPVs Pickup s ext ext ..😊😂

The Studebaker truck would have been killer for work.
with a curved front and a forward central seating position
@@replica1052 Agreed. Also the huge windshield.
I agree! I wouldn't have changed much in the design. This should be produced now and I'd buy one for work.
Looks like it was for squares😳
I would buy the Studebaker today, in a heart beat.
I like those kick out, fresh air vents under each turn signals.
It's not that windy here in Philly.

I think you're talking about Austin mini trucks. I have also mentioned it in one of my video "7 Most Unusual pickup trucks". You can check that
@@top.intel0 No, these were customized Mini Cooper's. Look up "red bull mini Cooper trucks" on google.image. shifting lanes did a good story on them.
Oh, I see😊

Ill have 10 Studebakers please !!!! WOW 😉😎
i loved isuzu como more it is more of a super car than a truck
Isuzu body was neat idea
Coupe de junkk
The Dodge: Take a production truck and screw some plastic junk on the roof and call it a concept truck.
Love the Studebaker. Canoo looks like similar but with rounded finishes. 😂
I wish the Ute from Austrailia was available in the U.S.
I am actually in the process of trying to legally bring one here to the U.S.. It’s not as easy as I thought.
Holden or Ford ?
The GMC is nothing more than a El Camino!
Or a Ford Ranchero
It seems shorter but yes very similar
Butful video ❤ good luck 🍀💚

You can build your own out of a stock 88-98 model, with better tech options.
The Studebaker perfect work truck
I would buy the transcend
Same here
GMC Transcend - great dual-purpose muscle-truck, both elegant and practical.
Isuzu Como - could have been the only practical-ish supercar in history.
The Studebaker was just an Big American version of the VW Type 2
2 door pock up.
At the same time Jeep was selling it's iron block 4, in a COE Jeepsters
Citroën HY comes to mind.
The early Dodge A100 van
came in a pick-up version.
The trasnsend was not a truck it was a rich mans grocery hauler. The baker and dodge was the only trucks
Could have been a good video if they showed the interior
Yeah, but interior footage or images weren’t available on the internet
The Dodge is the beast I would go for....
What about the Dodge T-REX
Check my channel. There's another video about this topic, with Dodge t rex in my thumbnail
Check the videos! Top Intel made a video about it.
5:52 rebadged Nissan urvan go brrrrrrrrrrrrr
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The coupe de plage, the sound when you that a (______) & looks like one also.

And I thought my Scion XB was boxy.🤔
6 if to include The Shoot The Moon truck made from hemp by Cheech n Chong Coachworks.
Who is the blind person that designed that piece of crap .....what the heck are they thinking ....I guess they didn't think ...
The Subaru Baja should have made the list...though not a truck, more of a Ute pickup.
I want that Isuzu. I'd love to beat a v12 lambo with an Isuzu.
I'm in line with you. Looks a lot better than the Isuzu P'up I had back in the early 80s.
They should have built it what a great truck ?
Don't cae. El Camino looks daddy like

Thank for Vedio
The Isuzu Como would be a great product for today only with a Battery Electric drive train.
its ugly
