Hey Ramon, always love your take on the big F replica/copy Strats, the Japanese make some truly astonishing guitars. Have you ever thought of getting an original "veneer" board Strat and building your favourite parts around it?. I believe the neck is the soul of the instrument.

@@Neil-Aspinall ah apparently the Fender chiefs visited the production in Japan and they were in tears at how close they got to the original examples and Fender USA struggled to compete - hence the custom shop.
I believe it was the Greco facility that the head honchos of Fender visited and where blown away by the accuracy of those guitars, Greco had got there shit together by buying original pristine examples of Strats and Teles to copy in the finest detail, only the Japanese standard screw heads are different!.

Best Strat I ever had was a 1989 Jap Strat. Do you know what these were based upon?
Was it a fender ?

I used to until I got my hands on one. They are really great guitars imo
