    Great video, I've been thinking of building one myself, seeing you build one make me feel like I too can do it. Thanks man, you're the best.

    Thanks very much for this video, Peg. I bookmarked this so I can use it to build my next DNA 40.

    Great Peg. Now even I consider to give it a try With a DNA 25. I just need to get a soldering iron an a Third arm. Thank you for a very good explanation.

      That would be awsome, I have a flask clone that I would love a dna 25 or 40 in. Bi\ut I don`t want you to get over Your head in work. You have done enough for a while. :) I don`t have the Money for those chips yet.. But thank you very much for the offer. :)

    I built one of these a while ago. While building it I found out that 18 gauge silicone wire wouldn't fit into the Evolv DNA 40 chip for soldering. I had to use 20 gauge wire for the batteries. I also bought a 3D printed chip and usb cradle from Shapeways that was really nice...they kept the inside looking nice and neat. I used a low profile 22mm FatDaddy 510 that sits a lil lower then flush...cant even tell its on there with a tank screwed on. Only regrets I have is not putting a 12mm fire button in it.

    Great information, thanks.
    Did you keep clone's charger or bought & installed the evolv's ?

    Were you referring to the 22mm "smooth top" 510 connector from varitube? The reason I ask is cause it says 22mm Smooth top option is for drippers only.

      @PegasusVaporAcademy  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I met Perry from Varitube at a TPC convention, and he gave me a handful. These are called low profile by the man himself.
      Personally I think smooth is fine as almost everything we use these days has its own air flow. What still uses 510 bottom air?
      The slotted stuff is "just in case"

      Ok I see what they mean by smooth top now. The pic wouldnt load at first. Thanx

    Hi peg I was wondering if you could show us a normal box mod build maybe with 3 18650 with a switch so we can switch from parallel to series also how to actually attach the heat sink to the MOSFET just in general how you would build a box mod from scratch. I got everything down myself except how to wire the battery sled so I can switch from parallel to series maybe a voltage meter in the box would be nice too I know you're a busy man maybe sometime down the road on this one thanks again

      and I have so many PVA orders to handle. I'll see what I can do.

    Was hoping you showed how you got all that expoxy/hot glue out your cana mod.

      Pegasus Vapor Academy Dude thats what i've been trying. That and a razor and rubbing alcohol. The top white glue layer(which I assume is just hot glue) came off relatively easy enough. The stuff under it has a slight yellow tint(i assume an epoxy of sorts or maybe is hot glue as well) it wont budge at all. My dna30 started saying "check atomizer". When I lift the board by the glue, it will work again but the ohms bounce but mostly stay at .5(what it should be) but go up to 2.8(rarely). But with movement it goes back to "check atomizer". Its not the tank. I rebuilt the coil and tried 4 different drippers, same result. When I purposely short the 510 connection it says "short" as it should. So I assume there is a short under the board, but I cannot get to it. Been trying for a week now and I know using this is not safe, like a hybrid mechanical mod now. But it is all I have, till my order comes in the mail. Just been cautious for tell tale signs of battery over amp/temp. I assume the glue or epoxy is all over the screen glued to this board, with the glue protruding on both sides to keep it centered. I know there is a faulty connection or short happening under there. I just can't get it to. Any help would be greatly appreciated or anything I could try, or anything I may have over looked. Far as fixing it or removing it without breaking the chip. Going to try freezing it next, see if its brittle.
