I loved this movie, even if some of the acting was a bit low grade, because the movie shows all the parallels in time, when the concept of time travel is actualized. Great story line and concept!!! Some people complained about the music, but I think it really suited the theme.
I think I've figured it. Some ambitious young composer wanted to showcase his film scoring abilities, and got his friends together to make a bit of a movie so he could.

As usual, things got a little confusing due to the time travel element of the stor. I've never seen so many characters who are torn between acceptance and rebellion. The retro feel and decidedly low-tech atmospherics were fun, but I was not totally sold on the characters' responses to the events in their lives. In the end, I was left feeling vaguely uplifted but mightily confused about who learned what lesson and how, and what the overarching message of the story is. Is time travel a curse? A gift? Neither? Both? Maybe the fundamental message is that regardless of how we may cleverly find ways to give ourselves the illusion of reinventing ourselves, we cannot escape our basic identity, vague dissatisfaction. And why were the crowds of protesters so upset, supposedly, to learn that there are parallel versions of themselves in other universes---that they are not "unique" afterall? Who cares? For all we know, there really are parallel universes with parallel "selves", but we haven't discovered it yet. In my mind, this was not a believable public response. Overall, I vaguely enjoyed the minimalist settings and very low-tech factor, almost to comical effect. However, I felt that the reasons for actions were not always clear, and also unclear was how those actions served to drive forward the overarching narrative. More succinctly, somewhat fun, a little disturbing, and at least to my mind, a bit muddled. If you're looking for Star Wars, go watch any one of the several excellent productions of "The Time Machine". But if you're down for a low-tech exploration of how human beings with a time travel device at their disposal are likely to respond to the revelation of their non-uniqueness, in a story with some unclear twists and turns, you might like it. 2-1/2 out 5 stars from me.
An interesting riff on the old going back in time trope. I got quite annoyed with the crying out to God scenes though; I guess that is rather a USAmerican thing....? But I did like the music (unlike some other commentators).
I didn't notice the music being too loud, and that's something I always notice. I thought this was good, I liked the weird colors and the 80s eye glasses. Everyone is complaining about the "god" theme...I didn't think it was over done on that either. Everyone has a breaking point and yells at god some time lol.
When a scifi movie starts out with preaching Genesis in a bland voice you know it's going to be forced delusion and bad acting. At least When Worlds Collide did it, context was fitting and there wasn't some whiny kid.

What's this god stuff? Science should rule Sci Fi flix. The two should not mix. Rational thinking, delusion free, and creative themes are what we are looking for.
This movie was so bad and the message, if you can call it one, was a huge deception. It certainly didn’t make for thought provoking. I it didn’t help me fall asleep lol But I lost 50 points of my IQ for watching to the end 🤯
I would ask why US films always have a US flag posted prominently in the shot like it is some 3rd world dictatorship, but I realize it is a 3rd world dictatorship and can't afford free and unbranded thought and expression to go unchallenged.
Your comment was the only honest one stating that this movie was junk. Started watching and couldn't endure it after 10 minutes. Those that liked it have really low expectations of entertainment and don't care about wasting their time...
Sorry, but this film has problems. A kid plays with a watch, then he's a teen and all the sudden another teen? The time gaps between whatever happens makes no sense to make any sense. It feels and seems like there's nothing to be attached to the beginning, plus the music is louder tha what ppl are saying. I stopped watching after 10 minutes. senseless Sorry.
It’s either listening to the music or hearing the dialogue. I would prefer the dialogue
The music is too loud.
It made this movie unwatchable 😩

loved it actually. in this movie the background music was not at all annoying because it was so perfecetly placed.
The music is enough to prevent watching the film it is absolute crasse music!

That was in the words of the ninth doctor ' fantastic'🎉❤

Appropriate. Shaped like a coffin.

Unfortunately, this film didn't seem to have any plot, and I had a hard staying with it until the end! (No complaints about the music, though.)
Putting complaints aside nobody said if the movie was good or bad. Thats more annoying than the music.

I am the furthest thing from a hater. I usually love low budget movies, but this was just bad.
I fully agree with your statement and just wanted to add I hope and pray that the next movie I choose I make a better choice!
8/15/2024 so far so good.
So busy and that's just his mind, he hasn't a day to spare in the area of fame, in fact he then must announce his secret project just to receive Adult income
They do it all the time, fucking music's that loud you can't hear a thing !!
I enjoyed the adds more than the movie, and i hate adds.
Real movie grey he's a new behind Dr who
There is no time travel. There never was time travel. There never will be time travel. It doesn't even make good fiction.
In Victorian times many scientists said that there was nothing left to discover. It seems that we've moved on since then, except you maybe.
Yeah I'll just check in my bible to see if it sais anything about 300 time travelers turning up at the crucifixion.

whad I just watch 🤔

Gotta skip this. Can't hear anything but the music.

Talk about bad acting. Don’t waste your time watching
