    Hello. This is Mark Lund the writer/director of First Signal. I want to thank you all for watching and commenting on the film. Your support of independent cinema makes it possible for filmmakers like me to continue producing. On behalf of all of us that brought First Signal to life, my thanks again.

      Very enjoyable. However the continuity and development of your movie was severely hindered by the interruption every five minutes or so by advertising. You might want to consider a more conducive medium of advertising. That aside, it looks like a great job.

      @@Aquarium-Downunder You are telling them you don't like their work because the setting for this film was the US? What a strange comment. A ton of movies are set in the US. If you don't want to see films set there you should probably look into them ahead of time to see the location. Regardless, it's kind of crappy to comment negatively about it just based on a particular preference you have.

      @@Aquarium-Downunder Oh I'm sure plenty of films set in the US do get filmed elsewhere, but in addition to that a ton of films are just filmed in the US to begin with so it makes sense so many are filmed there, especially with hoe they've built such an industry around movies and entertainment etc. I just don't see why this would lead you to leaving a negative comment just because of where the story was set. It did involve other countries and world leaders. 😕 I am confused, if you are trying to say you don't like plenty of countries regardless of where they are set then why do you not like this one just based on location? P.s. I've seen some great movies filmed in Australia lately, they definitely make some cool stuff 🙃

    Considering its low budget, this Sci-Fi movie truly stands out as an impressive achievement. As a Sci-Fi fan, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the film. Kudos to the Writer/Director for crafting a storyline that felt plausible and engaging throughout. The actors' performances were commendable, making the characters believable and relatable.
    I'd like to extend my gratitude to all those involved in the making of this film. Despite the budget constraints, they managed to create a captivating experience. The dedication and effort put into this project are evident in every aspect of the movie.
    In conclusion, this low-budget movie exceeded my expectations and is a must-watch for Sci-Fi enthusiasts. Well done to the entire team for their hard work and passion! - Love from Australia 🦘🦘🦘

    I was going to stop this movie after 10minutes, but it started to get me thinking. I saw the three and had formed the opening early they were Aliens. I now stayed to see if friendly. I have always wondered how technology has leapt in bounds since the 1900’s. Maybe there is more to this movie than just a story. The Alien Aircraft do resemble some Aircraft under development now. The low budget did not make this movie feel any less special than some high budget movies that were much more predictable. I did really enjoy it. Well done.

    I do declare, finally a credible account on where we are in the world of alien contacts.Shared technology,and the fact he mentioned they weren't the only alien technology -presence here on Earth made it a most heartwarming movie.Small groups with NTK (need to know) protocols, sub groups with agendas of their own and the mention that Native Americans saved us in one World War situation, perhaps we should value all our assets,not just assemble and fund an offense to "see why they (aliens)were really here" does provoke thought indeed.

      there is no plausible reason for an extraterrestrial race to travel here just to share technology. The cost is prohibitive.
      The sole plausible reasons are conquest and colonisation (which come down to the same thing, obviously).
      The sole way interstellar travel would not be prohibitively expensive would be cheap faster than light travel, and that's theoretically impossible unless the fundamental laws of physics as we know them are utterly wrong (and not in a small way either).

    • @johnkemas7344
      @johnkemas7344 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      All great plausible points to us! To us humans cost, need for power and control, conquest etc. are still important, Alien civilizations far more advanced may no longer need to consider "cost" as a valid reason not to travel the stars. Conquest, colonization, need of resources, pure adventure, the search for science, interstellar archeology, and even search for a divine being - GOD, may be other options too for them. Or like us, they may merely may need to know how and why we exist!
      Everyone assumes faster than light travel - other options may be possible too. At one point mankind kind thought going faster than 100 MPH in a train was impossible, same as going faster than the speed of sound, both eventually to be proven wrong. We are still a very young, naive society of beings only in our earliest years of tech development. Much of our understanding of Physics is still "theory" "assumption" and speculation. That too will change with time and more experience. For the most part most of what we think we know is just guessing. @@jwenting

    A great character study. Not designed for visual eye candy. I usually yawn and wander away, but this time I recognized this work for what it was. Hitchcock used this approach to storytelling in "The Rope". Cool Beans Mr. Lund. Major Ellen Sampson needs to find a tailor to hem up that baggy uniform... That is Not Air Force regulation uniform. My favorite character, nonetheless.

    The German rocket program started around 1935, so Cedric must be about 120 years old. And his parents are about 150 years old. What will happen when the general learns anti gravity technology? Get another signature?

    • @lisasternenkind6467
      @lisasternenkind6467 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Germany also studied anti-gravity techniques and further energy efficient transportation in the 1930's, which is the main reason it was under attack. There is a reason why more than 400 peace treaties by Germany were completely refused by the allies.
      I believe we are being watched closely by extraterrestrials. They seem to watch the allied forces of WW 1 & 2 very closely, as the most sightings are around their military areas.
      History is always written by the winner, and WW 1 & 2 is no exception. But the truth is out there. Maybe the world as it is can cover up, but the ET's will know and remember.
      Maybe the ET's come from outer space, but are also from our human future. Maybe the ET's are the ones who created us. I don't know, we don't know. But they seem to have disliked the heavy attacks on German cities, as they were watching and interfering with the British and US Airforce aircrafts when they were bombing German cities. They seem to have followed a restriction of becoming involved by stopping them from attacking them though. But the British and American pilots, together with their crews, reported light spheres following and circling them while they were flying and entering German territory. Crop circles appeared in the UK right after these attacks with phosphor bombs on German cities. UFO sightings appeared more often in the US and in the UK when and after the atomic bomb was placed on Nagasaki. The soviets too had a rising number of UFO sightings starting during WW 2 along the Siberia railway, which was built by German, Korean, and Japanese POW's, and also anti-communist prisoners. These sightings also happened around Gulags, military places, and atomic energy plants, such as Tschernobyl. Now we all know that these sightings also occurred around US atomic energy plants and also around US military areas, even interfering with the rocket bases multiple times. ET's seem to dislike or at least watch closely when it comes to military areas or engagement, and nuclear devices as well. I don't think they are afraid of us attacking them, as they are way ahead of our abilities. So why do they watch so closely? Probably because they want to either study our behaviour, or because they want to stop us from ruining the earth. They have proven that they can prevent nuclear weapons from launching because they wanted to show off their capabilities, or because this was to be a warning, or because they simply tried out whether they could.
      So I can't understand why certain people keep on starting wars, or why certain people aim at ruining existing thriving societies, for example by the EU policies, or by installing woke cult agenda in all western countries, leaving no place for people with another mindset and worldview to wander off to together with their families and friends. 😢

      🤔 im German and there were no hints on research of anti gravity. And where are ~400 peace requests from Germany. Hitler even condemned Himmler for his treason in his last days.
      What happened in reality is that allies took the medical research of SS and the brain drain by operation paperclip and into Soviet Union.
      If you’re German you’d know what great boasting was made; we hadn’t lost if ideological reasoning weren’t the governing drive 😎
      That science was flourishing had to do with sound value base and a mindset which is not based on common law and language desaster. Nearly any German speaking person understands every letter spoken 😮

    I really liked this movie. The major and the governor was great characters, giving the movie a nice suspense. Given the low budget, they used the simple surroundings very effective. The plot was full of suprises. The script was good. The speeches was sometimes a bit melodramatic and made me smile, but I didn't mind because they were short. The guy who played the general and the senator character could do with some more acting classes, I think.
    The music was great. I recognized a classical piece, don't remember the title.
