Indiana Jones cinematic achievements tier list

Five movies with lotsa excitement, at least during franchise heyday in 1980s. * means haven’t watched.
Raiders of the lost Ark 9.5/A+ innovative back then, giving Harrison Ford another legendary character.
Indiana Jones & Temple of Doom 7.5/B+ possibly better script with more thrilling scenes but obviously the magic of previous (and following) blockbusters largely diluted.
...and the Last Crusade 9.75/A+ superb in almost every conceivable way: lead + supporting cast, blend of serious/funny dialogue, special effects, etc. Only gripe would be it’s not fully epic like first couple of star wars.
...Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 6/B occasional brilliance alongside lacking best elements of predecessors. Karen Allen redeems herself; was a little more interesting first picture.
