I recently had the pleasure of accepting an invitation from my good friend Gary to spend the long weekend of this year's Mid-Autumn Festival at his charming countryside abode, nestled just an hour away from the bustling city of Shanghai.
Situated amidst the serene backdrop of a picturesque lake and a meandering river, Gary's home lies in proximity to an eco-village. The surrounding verdant landscapes imbue the area with a tranquil and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a peaceful retreat.
