They are not built to fail, They are built for profitable and disciplined traders, which %90-%95 fail of traders fail. Roughly 40% of traders quit after the first month alone. 87% quit within 3 years. Outlast the everyone and you will automatically be ahead of everyone.

I laughed when he mentioned the psychology aspect, talking about holding onto losers saying it's going to come to breakeven, and even it does, then you think "oh since it came back I'll hold it into profits"... definitely been guilty of this a few times especially in the early stages. It works until it doesn't. It's a journey, to be sure. Enjoyed his no-BS attitude since the space overall seems to be rife with scammers, marketers and people wanting your money, which is understandable I guess lol. (I mean just look at the average number of bot posts on YT trading videos vs most other types of content!)

@@keynanfan7012 I wouldn't say it's so much "confidence" as is just personal affirmation that yeah, my p&l is clearly slipping consistently, but 0.6% down in a week and I made 28 trades.... eeeeeehhhh maybe not sa bad no? I mean, I still have my account so I must be doing something right, right? 😂 I do get what you mean though with feeling stuck, just have to understand it's something you go through as part of the process, just don't beat yourself up on it👌

Not only prop firms. Trading was designed for most retail traders to fail. Not so different with lotto, but you have a higher chance of becoming consistently profitable in prop firms than winning a lotto. 😆

i don't judge and don't care what people get for payouts as long as the prop firm is paying out and seems legitimate. none of these youtube traders with prop firms trades elliot wave, so it doesnt matter to me.
Stop blaming prop firms for your own incompetence. It is not prop firms that make you fail, you are not just good at what you do. That's all there is to it. Prop firms particularly Myforexfunds paid out funds to you guys. Don't generalize all prop firms. Have you said that to big players like banks, etc when they try to do liquidity grab or manipulate the market? have you guys ever said that to them? The only difference is that banks are doing it legally although their manipulation is still real, but you cannot do something about it. Gosh, I can't believe these idiots speaking out after all the prop firms have done to them and paying them out.

We all know this game is owned by the banks. At least their tactics can be learned and are pretty transparent and with any proper non f*up even broker you can make a good living once you learn and understand how the market moves. Prop Firms LIED blatantly and on top of the bank manipulations that are mostly now known they mess up the fricking trading software! That's a wholeee different thing! If you are with a good broker your account doesn't just disappear one day either! The fact is how MFF operated and the rest is fricking unethical and disgusting does not matter how much they paid out in the past. If you make money from defrauding people guess what? That's a shitty way to make money from people! Smdh
Right? People who haven’t built up the skills to be profitable will always blame someone other than themselves when they lose. Funny thing is the parameters the props set up in the challenges are geared for you to fail, so smart traders play the game. Joe blow walks off the streets and think he can pass the challenges with no trading plan, zero risk management and talk about getting slipped, any pro trader will tell you that you factor slippage, spread and swaps before you even pull the trigger on a trade.

They are not making it hard, they are forcing you to trade as a professional and have a professional lvl of risk management.
It is actually such a silly comment sorry )))) If you know how to trade that 10-20 pips execution for sure will not make huge difference for you ( unless you are not a super scalper who needs instant execution and there are a little bit of them in the market), So they may cut part of your profit for sure but not make you lose ))))

Then go back to the drawing board, backtest a lot until you have a successful strategy and then work on your psychology so you can actually let your edge play out. No need to pay for challenges yet if you aren't consistently profitable on a (small) personal account in my honest opinion

All prop firms would have some slippage. True Forex Funds have their own internal broker - nothing stopping them from doing what MFF did 👀
I've had multiple server outages with them for over 7 hours multiple days where you can't trade, close or modify positions.
