Happened with both my kids. The first I love her name and when i said it to my husband i just knew. With our second i said a name that i liked but didn't love but knew it was going to be her name. I do think it suits her though.

My neighbors were Mennonite their last name was FOX, their boys were named Sheldon, Kendall and Henry. Girls name was Joelynn and Galinda and Pauline. The mr was named Elvin. Whatever name you pick I'm sure will be absolutely perfect.

My husband just helped me narrow it down to a few, then a couple, and then finally, the one we went with. To us the meaning of the name was just as important as the name itself. It's crazy, but I notice a lot of babies end up growing up to be what their names mean. God has a plan for your little baby and will lead you to a name that will fit them just right.🙂

What about Hiram for a boy? It’s biblical, easy to spell, and old-fashioned but uncommon enough that there wouldn’t be any other kids in his class with that name.

I won't be able to use the because of my age, but my niece is Holly... my sister knew she would name girl that all her life & I just happened to always love the name Molly as much as my sister loved Holly. Instead of having children of my own I've been honored to raise my sister's son, my nephew Carter, that has non-verbal autism. He'll be 20 next year & he's my life.

I personally thought about the old TV show starring "Koola, Fran & Oli", and that that's what I would end up calling an "Oliver" in the family. :) Same era of programming, different programs "stuck" with us, & "Oliver" just doesn't work as a childs name in either one! My second thought was that I'd call an "Olive" or "Oliver" "Pimento" for a nickname, which might not go over very well at family gatherings...mwahahahaha....TC~

I go by Hope, and people who know me pretty well call me "Hopie". It's a one syllable name, but has been changed to two syllables. Just an idea!!

She is 4 and there have been other Amelia’s in class at church. My son is Milo James. I didn’t know it but I guess it’s an 18th century name. Everyone always asks if I named him after Milo Sweet Tea lol.

That's funny 😂. I always had a formula for my kids names. Has to start with a Br, have a double letter in the middle, and an a and e somewhere in there. So we have a Brittany Rae and a Brennan Steven.
I gave the Coleman suggestion and when you said “boom” it made me smile. 🥰 my husband and I could name multiple boys no sweat.... but we have two girls instead and it was a real struggle.... ended up with Vienna Brooke and Shiloh Maddyn and I adore them both. 💖

We have Xander, Josiah, Lauren, Danielle, Benjamin, Corban, Micah and Hannah. The name Corban comes from Mark 7:11 and means “Dedicated to God”. It’s not super common, but people know how to say it.

My daughter is Amelia and we call her Mina. I thought I would call her Mia for short but my son couldn’t say Amelia and he called her Mina and it stuck. She is 4 and there have been other Amelia’s in class at church. I have always loved the name Amelia but years ago people made fun of my saying it is an old fashioned name and now it is a popular name 🤷🏻♀️
