When I saw the thumbnail, I thought "already again the same?". And then I thought lets have a look at his settings this time. And, I like the idea of "vanilla" without any DLCs. That is concentration on "the game itself" like many of us played it for many hours - but then will maximum hard settings. I will follow you on this one...

No propaganda allowed is extra hard mode, because the newspaper generates negative modifiers when bad things happen to you. So disasters are followed by worse newspaper within 1-30 minutes later...
you need at least 2 tiles between destilleries, aren't you? otherwise they might not explode at the same time but will catch fire as far as I'm aware. Also riot and fires and so on are unlocked once the counter service is unlocked, so you can run +50% in the production until police becomes available. And it is also possible to never have fires in your savegame if you never unlock fire stations.
Hi, love your videos😍 I have a question about the riots: I thought they can only start happening when you unlock the police station, when you reach the requested amount of workers. Till then you should be fine pushing the production or am i mistaken there?

Very happy you've turned off that combat mod that made Miss Hunt such a gigantic pain in your previous run. That was just annoying and not interesting after a while.

They appear globally once you have the first workers in your city (as said in the video) - police stations play no role in this

What you mean by "native power"? It would still need a powerplant and distance to the oil harbour doesn't matter
