This vlog is all about travelling with whole family to Akkalkot. Akkalkot is a short drive away from Solapur and near the border of Maharashtra and Karnataka. It is a place of religious significance as it is the home of Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj, a 19th century saint believed to be an incarnation of God Dattatreya. Akkalkot is famous for the ancient Vedic ritual of Agnihotra. It attracts pilgrims from across India round the year. We all were pleasantly surprised to see the reverence of devotees and the amount of respect and devotion they had for Saint Swami Samarth it was so heartwarming moment for all of us. The peace you get while you visit this temple is what you can’t put in words but only feel it.
