I have just watched this video and to me, they are just overpriced and often oversized lumps of metal and rock that do a basic job. I feel that the true beauty lies in taking a lump of dull lifeless metal and lovingly making it into a living machine. To me all metals are just metal with differing properties and the hands molding it into something is the epitome of wonder, once the piece has come to fruition, then I lose interest in it My mind can't grasp what the interest in the colour of metal is. Make it into something that is the true purpose.
I mean, not everyone is into luxury watches. Everyone is different and that's why taste is one of the greatest mysteries of the universe. One cannot assume that one's bias should govern all things in the universe. 🤷
