- I skipped two steps in making the Arak. I bought double distilled alcohol with a 25.5% abv and I ran the third distillation. It was fun, surrounded by friends and family. Oops, I made a mistake. The aniseed will absorb the water NOT the other way around. Please make sure to throw-away the methanol at least 200 ml for every 20 liters of alcohol. The more copper you use in the still, the merrier.

How much anise seed did you use per volume of alcohol?
For one liter of wine/alcohol you need to add .270 grams of anise seed.
how and where you got the alcohol
I bought the alcohol already distilled twice. I only had to distill the third time.

@عيسى الخياري بالنسبة للعرق تقريبآ 50 دولار النوعية الجيدة اما الويسكي النوعية الجيدة ما يقارب 60 دولار
