  • This wojak gym meme video is about gyms in 2050. Wojak gets to experience both the positive and negative sides of futures for gyms in 2050. On one hand, gyms are advanced and personalized, with AI coaches and VR training programs. On the other hand, going to the gym becomes a mandatory event, forced by the gov.

He lied and said yes but never turns up whenever we planned to meet at the school's gym. When I'm there I tried to call him but he never bothers picking up or calling back. So I ended up being alone hitting the gym by myself. Not just once or twice, but like 4-5 times until I didn't bother about him anymore.
    Later, there's a college competition for bodybuilders and he went and got LAST PLACE for all categories (i.e physique, figure, etc). He still went around telling others, "I'm not sad. I am proud. Because I didn't take steroids. I'm all natural. So I'm a winner actually and I'm proud of myself." When questioned how did he know others took steroids he just went silent and treated that person as an enemy. What's funny is he still went on preaching to others that he 'would have won if there's no steroids... the judges didn't do any drug test. Hence, he won naturally' while all his 'competitors' went through numerous competitions and won many medals and prizes.
    Later he quit gyming and went to the army. Till this day, he still post on his FB wall saying everyone who hits the gym are 'unnatural' and only took steroids.
    What a d-bag.

      The sad part of going to the gym and actual try to build a body for shows is that your results basically 95% of the time depend on your genetics. Of course you can influence your quality of sleep etc. but the final results are just depending on your genetic. I think thats the reason why there is so much envy and hate at the same time in the fitness scene. Everything depends on your genetics but I think in other sports its much less obvious. In football you can be an legend even though you are not the fastest, or have the best technique (like puyol from barcelona back then), if you have a god like technique like messi you become messi, power haaland etc. So even if you lack something in some parts you can make it up with some other parts. In bodybuilding there is no way how you can compensate a weak back/chest/legs etc. You basically must be good in all areas and that is unfortunately really really rare, its like you are the perfect footballer which basically never existed like fastest, best technique, best endurance etc.

    • @smokingcrab2290
      @smokingcrab2290 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      @Nado, nah bro it's more about your diet than your genetics. Count your macros, focus on protein, no sugar, take supplements, and be immaculate about it.. You'll definitely get results. Most people just can't handle the discipline

    • @Nadox15
      @Nadox15 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Of course I go to the gym, I have my diet etc. all in check for over 4 years now and have good results. But I was speaking in generell, it can be frustrating, and I understand why some get envy etc. I think being envy is ok but not pulling other people down etc. Its a toxic mindset, try to be the best version of yourself and there wont be any real envy

He had a daughter about my age, and said it made him happy to see young people coming in before they 'got old and fat like him'. We talked, and for most of his life he'd been in below average to bad shape but got fit later when his kids started aging out of the house.
    I obviously don't go around bothering people who are in the middle of something intense, but I couldn't imagine not being able to just chat with someone at the water fountain or by the locker room sinks. At firs all the people in the gym made me nervous but after going for a while I find it very comforting, and its feels kinda weird now to work out alone or isolated.

    This scene alone explains a lot about the government taking over healthcare, and the brutalist, undecorated hallways in the "health center" alike show what happens when you reduce it to the one size fits all state. I hope someone, somewhere sees this story and thinks about it in that way.
    More importantly, you expertly highlight the dangers of the surveillance state in one of the most effective and easily understood ways on TH-cam.

    Going to a gym where you personally know people (at least their faces) and there trainers do interact with you is a great experience. My life started changing for the better once I took my kettlebell training more seriously and found gym where people do kettlebell training. I am too introverted and shy to make lots of new friends there (and language barrier doesn't help), but very fact of having a person with whom I can have a serious conversation about technique or training strategy has great benefit for mental health. I won't even talk about physical one - even two days per week of intensive workout moves you ahead a lot. There is power in being a member of small community of closely-minded people.

      i train by myself because most gyms are full of people who want to fight me for only train respectfully in a gym, so i quit gyms and start to buy the equipment to train in the house i live, so i started to do some training, is pretty bad when you go to a place and the last thing they do is the thing for what the place is made, it happens a lot where i live, sports, martial arts, and gyms are like that here, wherever i go people start looking bad at me because i want to do excercises to get better health, but people are only watching me bad for not being a lazy a$$ and a d!ck like them, the teacher usually gets pretty sad because he look at me with hope and likes to have a student wanting to train, but they most train people to get money so they end up being more half neutral about the others and me, so i just quit and started to train in the house i live because i got tired of that.

    I can't imagine my life without the gym or exercise, if mandatory exercise became a real thing how many people would be upset?
    Also, you get your own room with your own gym equipment that you don't have to share? That's not dystopian that's rad as hell!

      there is a lot of people who hate exercise, if they could not move or do anything like that they will be happy, i am pretty surprised to think about a healthcare system of the government that improves the citizen to get coverage of healthcare meanwhile they keep themself in minimum of fit body, that could be a really good thing meanwhile not mixed in a power and people selection, and had a real consequences roadmap to not injure people with some ill that prevent people of physical activity, that could be pretty bad, but a gym made by the government with at least the basics to have a fit body and health insurance for those in a healthy activities given by the government? that sounds pretty good, in my town there is little to not available developed spaces to do exercise, and most of them are paid ones, and there is no good instructors or instructors even in the paid ones, also there are a lot of "clubs" that focus on the sport, but not in the body or mind of the sportman, wich end giving the orthopedic and physical rehabilitation specialist a lot of work to do with all the people injured for bad instructors.
      Life healthcare insurance if you have a healthy body sounds more utopian than dystopian to myself.
