My first Sebastopol was my baby. His mate didn’t survive shipping. I named him Peepers. I loved him so much. He would take naps with me and loved kisses. At around 6 months I finally replaced his mate which changed his relationship with me. He started chasing cars down the driveway and met his demise. I’ll forever miss my sweet boy.

If you have ever worked at a rescue, you would know if u kept every animal you saved you wouldn't have room, or financially afford to keep them or rescue any other animals in need. I promise every animal is special and we would love to keep every single one of them.

Don’t send her away no matter what. Let her live her life with you. I have about 30 chickens and ducks and my 7 year old put a duck egg in the incubator to try it out and the odds that that egg would hatch was very low but it did. So now we have a duck that has bonded with us and lives in the house hanging out with the dogs and cats. Her name is Duck Duck and every morning she waits with the cats and the dogs for their morning treats. Keep that goose close. You have something special. ❤

"most people" don't matter. Animal lovers are the closest to God.
I have geese... The ones that i raised are like waterfowl dogs. They are super affectionate and trusting of me and people. If they say "its just a goose" they arent around them much. Geese are really awesome. I have an aggressive rooster and my geese keep his ass incheck. They will chase him away from us to protect us from him. I also witnessed them protecting my young chickens I hatched this year.
