I was a cocktail waitress years ago in a nice club in Tulsa,Oklahoma where Suzanne was going to be doing her live show later that evening. Her show was a lot of work but she still came several hours early and talked to each and every employee there she saw and asked each one about their families and their lives. She was so kind to each and everyone she saw. I worked with probably about 150 stars or singing groups and NOT ONE ever came early to meet the employees. Suzanne was the only one. It impressed me so much. ❤️ RIP dear kind lady
She fell down the stairs last year and broke her back and also had a head injury. I think that’s what did it but that’s just my idea. RIP Suzanne . You are loved by so many.
Cancer sucks! I can't believe she was this beautiful vibrant woman just 4 weeks ago and now she's gone. It makes me happy to learn she had such a wonderful marriage and family. I loved her from Three's company when I was a little kid and I always liked her the most out of all of the "Chrissie" replacements. It just didn't work without her. I just wanted to say that Suzanne's bravery in writing her very candid & revealing autobiography helped me understand my feelings, and especially how my childhood living with an incestuous & alcoholic father shaped me as an adult. I wish I could have thanked her personally. my deepest condolences go out to all of her family.

I heard the sad news of Suzanne's passing just now and had to come back to this video. I was shocked as I had just recalled I saw this beautiful energetic lady cooking her pot roast...she was lively and her bubbly self. I think of her fondly as I watched Step By Step faithfully when I was younger 💞 RIP Suzanne. My love and prayers to all in her life❤️

I love the way Suzanne makes cooking a pot roast makes it look easy. I did not care for making a big production of pealing & cutting that gorgeous watermelon only to ruin it with salt, vinegar & onion ... I am a purist, give me a good ripe watermellon by itself.
It's not for everyone. Their pallette is on the ritzy side. I will say though, this is not a "creation" that her DIL thought of. I've seen this multiple times on TV and YT. It looked ok, minus the onions. I love onions but not on watermelon!

Here in the mid Atlantic region we are starting fall. I brown my roast a little more in a cast iron pan and use mushroom broth. We love onions too. You have to request them on your salad at restaurants now. Not really sure what that's all about. Going to visit my best friend in Florida week after next and we are going to be having fun cooking. The genuine smiles and laughs. A lifetime of knowing each other. The peacefulness and loving atmosphere. What a blessed family. I never saw this show until today. I'm glad I saw it. What a treat. It is shocking to see her so full of life and glowing and to know it was just a short time before her passing. Whether it was a sudden loss of health or whether there was conscious timing, they loved so well and spoke so lovely to each other and really enjoyed one another's company. It's so heartwarming to witness the appreciation they had for each other and the warmth and comfort of them just being present with each other. Condolences to the entire family. I'm sure she has left a huge hole in their hearts but the memories of their life well spent together, I'm sure will provide them with such joy even in their moments of deep sorrow. RIP.

You were wearing a slip and my parents were shocked lol! We tried to explain that it wasn't bad but They banned us from watching but we still snuck to watch anyway 😂

That is a Man who is truly blissful about his Wife. Alan, I hope you are healing from this loss. The best watermelon to get is to grow your own and make sure the seeds are organic. Trust me they are the sweetest watermelon you will ever taste. They're selling nothing but seedless watermelons now in the stores and they're so bland.
Seedless is genetically engineered type. They are sweet because the grower used method to make it sweet so we would by them. The one with seeds is the original. In the hand of unskilled growers, it will not taste sweet & undesirable due to having too many seeds. Most fruits or melons needs long hours of Sun daily & proper nutritions to be looking good & tasty.

I made a roast on the stove like this for the first time last night. My instinct told me to add a little sweetness. Was going to put in some honey, but I didn’t. So funny that that was one of your secrets!! So glad I found you! I have all of your books and your meals are always in rotation!

I did not care for making a big production of pealing & cutting that gorgeous watermelon only to ruin it with salt, vinegar & onion ... I am a purist, give me a good ripe watermellon by itself.

It's not for everyone. Their pallette is on the ritzy side. I will say though, this is not a "creation" that her DIL thought of. I've seen this multiple times on TV and YT. It looked ok, minus the onions. I love onions but not on watermelon!

Here in the mid Atlantic region we are starting fall. I brown my roast a little more in a cast iron pan and use mushroom broth. We love onions too. You have to request them on your salad at restaurants now. Not really sure what that's all about. Going to visit my best friend in Florida week after next and we are going to be having fun cooking. The genuine smiles and laughs. A lifetime of knowing each other. The peacefulness and loving atmosphere. What a blessed family. I never saw this show until today. I'm glad I saw it. What a treat. It is shocking to see her so full of life and glowing and to know it was just a short time before her passing. Whether it was a sudden loss of health or whether there was conscious timing, they loved so well and spoke so lovely to each other and really enjoyed one another's company. It's so heartwarming to witness the appreciation they had for each other and the warmth and comfort of them just being present with each other. Condolences to the entire family. I'm sure she has left a huge hole in their hearts but the memories of their life well spent together, I'm sure will provide them with such joy even in their moments of deep sorrow. RIP.

You were wearing a slip and my parents were shocked lol! We tried to explain that it wasn't bad but They banned us from watching but we still snuck to watch anyway 😂

The best watermelon to get is to grow your own and make sure the seeds are organic. Trust me they are the sweetest watermelon you will ever taste. They're selling nothing but seedless watermelons now in the stores and they're so bland.
I love seedless. Not everyone has a yard to grow their own.

Seedless is genetically engineered type. They are sweet because the grower used method to make it sweet so we would by them. The one with seeds is the original. In the hand of unskilled growers, it will not taste sweet & undesirable due to having too many seeds. Most fruits or melons needs long hours of Sun daily & proper nutritions to be looking good & tasty.
