As much as I love our Detroit Lions and Dan Campbell Bill Belichick's been doing this a little bit longer I'm going to have to believe in what Bill saying
Your going to say that and yet we are 11-1 we have practice squad players rn play so yes there is going to be probably we have 24 players out rn 18 on ir and 12 on defense so yes we are hurting and missing a lot of guys rn so he's not wrong but he's not right either if we had everyone we would be the best defense in the league
I agree with Bill to a point. I didnt like that he doesnt give credit to our defense for forcing those errant throws and passes. Like the qb's just had a bad game. We forced those bad games💯
As Shannon Sharpe says, don’t accept anything in a win, that you wouldn’t accept in a loss. We absolutely need a better pass rush. We don’t get consistent pressure with our front 4. We have to blitz to get pressure, which compromises our secondary.
Re-watch the games and you'll see that the main reason they're not getting to the QB is because they're getting held. The refs aren't making the calls.
The things im hearing about the people we picked up like joahn Williams he great getting to the qb and we get Myles Adams will help i really think Mohammed did well not trying to jinx anything but i think he a the player we thought james Houston was supposed to be he did great against the bears
If you actually watch the Lions games, there’s no way to disagree with Coach’s assessment. He’s absolutely spot on. Even when Hutch was healthy, we needed another good DE on the opposite side. Now that Hutch has been out, we’re not getting consistent pressure. We were blitzing against the Bears on Thanksgiving, and still didn’t get to the QB.
If we can tap the wisdom and experience the veterans bring and the younger guys can put it to use, we've got enough depth to make it work. A small example of that happening was second half of the Houston game when Z was telling the guys to listen to the protection, and the results showed it. Which QB in the SB? Based on QB alone, Lamar. Based on QB and team together, Mahomes. Playing Josh in two weeks is good because it gives us field experience with him in case we face him later.
belicheck is correct: if terrion arnold plays a veteran all pro WR like a D-hop or amari cooper in the SB, as GREAT as arnold is, i cant see the chiefs NOT getting penalties on him. meaning, if kirby and branch arent on, our secondary can be had by the refs in the chiefs' pockets
It’s crazy how we given Green Bay praise as a team talk good about love but Green Bay players say we lost because they didnt do this and that right, it’s not because the Lions good
Yes, I agree! We need a pass rusher. We must be able to get to the quarterback as we progress to the Super Bowl. We can’t allow the better quarterbacks to sit in the pocket surveying the field.
Pass rush wasn’t fully adressed during both the offseason and trade deadline. You could’ve brought at least two pass rushers to play opposite Hutch and rotate, players like Danielle Hunter, Aj Epenesa, Denico Autry, Johnatan Greenard, and Andrew Van Ginkel were all free agents, yet Brad Holmes just opted to sign an injury prone Marcus Davenport and Matheu Betts. Then, we loose Comminsky, Davenport, and Hutch for the rest of the season and we end up only making one move at the trade deadline.
ay when a guy with 8 Rings says something, ima take that advice. Clearly the man knows what hes talking about 6 of them Rings are as HC the other 2 are as a Coordinator so ya again.. you dont just look past his advice as nothing of value, I would say though - everything he is saying, the Lions organization probably already knows that. So I dont think hes dropping gems, I think hes stating the obvious.
Bill's making stuff up. Dude's missing where the Lions are second in overall pressures and fifth in pressure percentage for the season and we've faced good competition. It isn't necessarily about sacks, but more about making the QB get the ball out quicker and under duress. This is despite losing Hutch for the season. I'm more worried about injuries.
If we play Philly in the Playoffs we are going to lose. Our offense can be stopped but with all these injuries our defense cannot give us a stop when we really need it.
Exactly why we needed Brad to get us a few guys at the deadline? Dude so cheap he acts like he spending his money . If we don’t make it we all know who to blame again
Josh Allen for the super bowl matchup, we get to play them once and if we lose, there will be a revenge factor in the super bowl. And god forbid we lose to them, it won't be the Chiefs winning again. Yeah, it's a concern, but they're exceptional at shutting down the run, so of course the way teams are going to beat them is the passing game. If our safeties and corners can hold on, I think they'll be good enough to make a run.
Minnesota and GB don't concern me, ESPECIALLY in our building! The Eagles are the one team that could give us trouble, but if we play a clean game of no turnovers and protect Goff well, we beat them for sure!
Against a Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, or Russell Wilson, I'd take a healthy stable of stud LBs and safeties over DL. But against the Eagles, Packers, Vikings you need some run stopping and interior pass pressure
Are u having any problems with the wallet messing up ur cards when u pull them out bc when I was doing some research on the wallet trying to decide if I wanted to buy one, that was an issue that came up from some reviewers, so I thought I would ask someone that " I knew" in person about that problem & c if u had any kind of problem like that pop up
Current roster I think I'd rather see Mahomes in the SB. They've snuck by on a lot of one score games and the Lions are a much more disciplined team than the people the Chiefs have been beating. Being the ones to stop a threepeat would be nice too.
Anybody who hasn’t been listening to you is just stubborn, I tried to ignore it when you first started that pass rush talk but after watching the games closer specifically the DLine I immediately agreed that we needed a big time pass rusher on the other end of Hutch. It’s just ridiculously obvious now that Hutch is gone people can’t watch a game without noticing the difference in our pass rush. Also any of those AFC QB’s would absolutely torch us with our current Defense (up to week 13) hopefully these new additions can get us back to being the enforcers we were
Bill giving a lot of backhanded compliments but this is the same guy that said Lions are reaping benefits from Patricia so idk how much his opinion really matters. Coverage sacks are a thing and this is a team game so if the O has the Lions up and forcing opponents to throw late that's how the TEAM helps out the pass rush. I wish we had someone legit to go with Z right now but Bill basically said guys shouldn't be injured because that's the real reason they're pass rush is suffering so much because everything he described is what AG has been doing.
I want us to face Josh Allen and the bills, Allen is the best quarter back in the NFL and I feel like they are the best team in the NFL right beside us, and they are getting hot at the right time. To me, if we can't beat the bills, then I feel we won't win the Super Bowl
Bill B....did you watch the Chicago game? Alim, Reader and Za'Darius are a PROBLEM for the other teams o-line. The Houston game....one out of 12 we have played and Decker sat and Goff had 1 pick on a bomb before half with two others being deflected.....weak take Bill B. AND yes, BB AND Kerby are both problems for the other teams QB's, that is why they are holding the ball so long!
That's why i thought BH should have put more into getting that elite rusher before the trade deadline... but everyone wants to keep saving their draft picks..for what, next year? For when AG and BJ leave? This is the year smh
@greatwhite3676 "dumb statement"..did you talk to BH? Did he tell you what went down? No? Who made the dumb statement now? What we do know is that the Raiders called before the deadline. No idea what was asked of BH in exchange for Crosby. Do you? But based on BHs history he wasn't going to give up multiple picks for Crosby. We have plenty of anecdotal evidence to show what BH is willing to give up or not give up in trades, etc. Based on that is why I made my statement.
@@jeremims9044 You act like you know how much "he put in to " getting an elite DE. "uhh lets offer them a 7th and a bag of balls for Crosby" Smith was a great signing. You are embarrassing yourself
@@greatwhite3676 of course I don't know the effort he made. I wasn't there, and neither were you. You made the assumption he put a lot of effort into it with the statement: "what do you think he did?". I made an inference based on his draft and trading history as well as the fact the Raiders called right before the deadline. All signs point to Crosby being discussed, and we know from history BH doesn't like to give up a lot of draft capital. It's called logic...and nothing I said was disparaging of Z Smith. I think he was a great signing as well. I just would like to have gotten another one, or an elite DE.
@ Giving up 3 firsts for a D lineman has never worked out. The patriots didn’t do that neither have the chiefs. We have had a record number of injuries on defense that’s not normal. I would let Holmes keep drafting
Who doesnt want more pass rush? We lost the best DE in the game. The offense will have to step up. I want homefield advantage but honestly this team can beat anybody at any time.
Lions coaches is not worried I'm not worried.
They are not going to telling you that they are worried.
Ya having no pass rush is concerning and we are getting there
Them signing players is them worried
Yes I’m worried to win the superbowl you need a pass rush period I don’t care what you say
@arturonunezsalinas9078 we are 11-1 without the best pass rush in the league. Chill. 😆 🤣 😂

Make another video about the Lions clinching the playoffs and how they can
If quarterback has good day we are in trouble! THAT GOES FOR ANY TEAM IN ANY GAME!
Right? Duh. Yeah we could use an elite pass rusher who cant?
I agree with Bill and you Derrick. We need to get to QB some way, some how.
Re-watch the games and you'll see that the main reason they're not getting to the QB is because they're getting held. The refs aren't making the calls.
@j228jazz True. I see it all the time. Still think we should've traded for Travon Walker, though.
We will get to the QB! Mohammed, Adams, Smith, Pascal will be back!
The things im hearing about the people we picked up like joahn Williams he great getting to the qb and we get Myles Adams will help i really think Mohammed did well not trying to jinx anything but i think he a the player we thought james Houston was supposed to be he did great against the bears

Let’s go Lions 🦁!
I got a question about half way through the season what would you grade are rookie so fare
(Also, thanks for making a video based off my comment from another video! 🤙)

GB still thinks they are better than Det...
Yeah Darnold and Love just had bad days against us. Wonder why lol is that because Detroit played well?
They need everything. So unfortunate with injuries but you gotta keep grinding
Offense just needs to carry a heavier load while our secondary steps up to next level.
Yes, I agree! We need a pass rusher. We must be able to get to the quarterback as we progress to the Super Bowl. We can’t allow the better quarterbacks to sit in the pocket surveying the field.
Nine seconds?? Wow first. No DUH Bill!!!!!

I love how bill talks highly one week of us then craps on us the next
Hoping we play Buffalo or Pittsburgh just for the regional, Rust-Belt of it all. I agree with Belicheck also.

I knew he was off. Just couldn't find the pressure stats
I’d like to see the Bills/Lions game go like the 2018 game between the Chiefs/Rams 😂 as long as we win
Easy Allen he’s nothing like Lamar or Pattie
According to ESPN we have 30
Shaq Barrett is that guy who can get to the QB
Unfortunately the dolphins control his fate as of right now
If we play Philly in the Playoffs we are going to lose. Our offense can be stopped but with all these injuries our defense cannot give us a stop when we really need it.
Hey, is Syndicate Sports detroit your channel as well?
Our corners were the problem last year in the playoffs. Hence the ball bouncing off Vildors face and being caught by BA
With these injuries its going to be to be hard to get number 1 seed
Exactly why we needed Brad to get us a few guys at the deadline? Dude so cheap he acts like he spending his money . If we don’t make it we all know who to blame again

Pat is the one I want to face in the superbowl. To be the best you have to beat the best.

Crazy thing is the lions hold teams to the lowest passer rating

I don't think he's too far off, next man up hopefully! Would rather face Mahomes
We will get to kinda see how we are improving against the packers it will be interesting

QBs have way too much time against us..
The Lions should bring Tracy Walker back!
I think he missed Kirby dudes been a dang
Branch has been struggling watch the tape. Trailing behind receivers and giving up Touchdowns.
J Adams could help OLB if he is with that unit....

I dont think so with the people we just picked up
We're at 30 sacks total
Don’t mind Kerbys 7 INT but Branch did it all. Shut Up coach
5 sacks in the most recent game???
If they make the Superbowl i rather face Patrick Mahomes
Billy boy thinks the Lions only won games because the opposing QBs had bad games? He loses credibility with that right there.
Right. I don't get it but for some reason all these QBs just keep having bad games against the lions. Hmmm
Kansas City
Go get T.J. Watt out of retirement.
We need JPP
