    • @kylelittle8816
      @kylelittle8816 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Boshyballs difference is Brady at least started in a league where you could hit a QB just like you could anyone else so he has experience! Yes, Trevor slid late, but that doesn't have to make it his fault! The shot was clearly a dirty shot.. inexcusable! But if he slides sooner, the defender doesn't even have a chance at that bad hit! Should have slid a yard or 2 earlier to completely take the defender or possibility of a hit out of the scenario... If you're a QB and you have all this special protection for you, you'd better be smart enough to realize that if a defender gets a shot at you... odds are they are going to give it every little bit of extra effort they have! Brady will tell you that too! Tom was right months ago, lol... this is why football isn't as good as it was 10, 15 yrs ago and back further!

    Bo Nix is just another reason why I never get why NBA GMs pass up on seniors who want to play college basketball. Nix had to stay to gain the experience after getting bounced around in the SEC under Brian Harsin. I rather get a player who has at least 4 years of experience then a one and done and still try to coach him in the NBA. Dalton Knecht is only known because he’s on the Lakers, but Kel’el Ware, Zach Edey, are two seniors who made an instant impact. Bo Nix, Jayden Daniels, Michael Penix Jr, are all ready QBs. that’s why both Daniels and Nix are doing excellent. plus, they have the right OCs

      Nix didn't just stay for his senior season, he was a 5th year senior. He's 24, he 3 years older than Drake Maye and Anthjny Richardson. This means he has less potential growth left and is closer to his ceiling. Listen Bo will be a good NFL starter. But that's not good enough. We are in the AFC, the 4 best QBs in the league are in our conference, Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, and Lamar. We need a top 5 QB if we want to be legit contenders and I don't think Bo's ceiling is that high. Hopefully he proves me wrong. Since 2013, the only qbs to win the AFC and go to the super bowl are Brady, Manning, Mahomes, and Burrow. Without a top 5 QB, we aren't winning the AFC, and the last 10 years are proof of that.

    Dallas absolutely IS NOT a cold weather city. To claim it is because it gets an ice storm once a decade is just dumb. That's just torturing the data to fit a narrative. When the Cowboys played in the fabled Ice Bowl in Green Bay, the Packers were on record as saying that the weather gave them an advantage because the Cowboys were not at all used to it, and that's back when both teams played outdoors.

    I have never really been a fan of Tom Brady, but he is right about coaches and their effect on a team. I never played beyond HS, but our 3 man Varsity coaching staff was great about distilling what we needed to do on both sides of the ball to put us in a position to win. Our JV coaches, all two of them, were tasked with scouting next week's opponents while we were playing that Friday night. This was before the age of the VCR camera so film was out of the question with our small school. It was just too expensive. Everything our JV coaches gave us on Monday afternoon were hand written notes and diagrams. Our offense never changed much. We were going to run the ball 80% of the time and 60% of those plays were going off tackle to the right side. We had the talent on the line and in the backfield to basically say "This is what we are going to do. Stop us if you can.". They couldn't and our tailback led the county in rushing all three years I played Varsity ball, including one year where he gained over 1700 yards. For some unknown and baffling reason our quarterback also led the conference in passing those three years. It still baffles me how we did that.
    On defense, we literally learned a new defense every week. Back then, every team was using every offense known to man. Wishbone, power I's, options, triple options, full house, and on and on. One week we're running a 4-4. The next week it's a 6-2. The next week it's a 5-2. Then a 5-3. Then a 4-4 with a Monster man. One playoff game it was my sole job as the defensive tackle to take out the knees of the lead blockers in a full house backfield who ran a sweep to my side. I made zero tackles, but the defensive end and linebacker on my side had double digit tackles that night.
    Coaches never get the credit they deserve.

      Good comment! You just took me way back to my playing and coaching days. I wasn't a bruiser like you, just a smaller guy. I wrestled 115 lb. I played corner and safety. But I was tough as nails and a team leader. Nobody ever scored a touchdown on me. Later I went into coaching, it's a lot of pressure. I can say it really took over my life. There's not much money in coaching amateur football. I finally had to get a real job, sorry to say.

      Miami was a dynasty? I dunno if 2 chips is enough for Dynasty talk. They only played like 13-14 games. Not the same at all. Also, Brady said warm weather teams if they have home field advantage they can use that as an advantage. And the Dolphins definitely played all them playoffs games in Miami. Cowboys won 3 so they are definitely a dynasty. But they only had to win on the road basically once in San Fran. Not exactly the coldest weather to ever play. Colin is talking about majority of dynasties. He left Dolphins and Cowboys out cuz it’s literally been forever.

Miami was a dynasty with 3 straight Super Bowls, 2 wins and an undefeated season. He also mentioned the Ravens, they only one 1 Super Bowl. Green Bay when they were a dynasty only won 2 Super Bowls. He also failed to mention that only about 6-7 teams play in “warm weather” cities so the odds are there would be fewer to opportunities to begin with. My point being Colin just says silly stuff sometimes to try and prove his narrative.
