Continental had a couple air cooled 9 cylinder gas radials. Caterpillar had a air cooled 9 cylinder diesel radial they put in a few but i don't think they seen any service. GM had a dual bank, dual crank 12 cylinder diesel. Chrysler made a single crank, 5 bank 30 cylinder gas engine. And Ford had the all aluminum, 1,100 cubic inch, DOHC gas V8. The V8 variant was supposedly the best performer. I read about it a while back. I was trying to learn more about the Ford and that's when i found out about the others. The power of those old steam tractors was insane.
I could crawl faster with broken legs than they move. But they are ridiculous on torque

@@leopardcentury4079 Lol. That was stupid. You don't concentrate on shifting while you are driving. You say that because you are from America and you all drive automatics. Here in europe it takes you 1 year to master the manual. You don't think when you are shifting. It becomes a second nature. Also manual transmissions are wayy more reliable, cheaper and easier to maintain.

@@leopardcentury4079 The way you described the tank was like an American. Most people who drive manual in europe don't concentrate on shifting. They just drive and they shift without thinking it
